1. KNDF Holds Meeting with Troops and Their Families Under Strategy No. 1
On April 20 and 26, the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) organized a meeting with troops and their families from Battalions No. 3 and No. 31, which are under Strategy No. 1. The event took place in a location within the Phekon Township, as reported by the KNDF Phekon Zone.
The event included speeches from relevant department heads, where battalion commanders and leaders addressed the troops. It also provided an opportunity for the families of the soldiers to ask questions and engage in discussions about matters they wished to understand. Soldiers were able to raise issues or queries they had, and officers responded and clarified these concerns.

2. PSLF/TNLA Leadership Attends Opening Ceremony of Weekly Territorial Control Training in Mantong
In Mantong Township, Brigade 4 territory of Ta’ang State, the opening ceremony for the Weekly (1) Territorial Control Training was held, attended by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA), Lieutenant General Tar Gyut Ja, and General Secretary, General Tar Phone Kyaw, according to a statement released by the TNLA.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tar Gyut Ja delivered a speech emphasizing,
“As Ta’ang State is home to diverse ethnic groups, it is necessary for territorial controllers to act systematically. Besides the subjects taught in this course, it is important to study technical subjects that support policing duties. Small issues should be eliminated, and major problems should be minimized,” he said.
The Weekly (1) Territorial Control Training, to be taught by experienced instructors, has enrolled 36 trainees. Over the three-month course, trainees will learn about police ethics, the Penal Code, criminal procedures, and legal practices relevant to policing and territorial administration. The training aims to reduce crimes such as theft, robbery, and drug trafficking, and to ensure the rule of law in the region.
Additionally, General Tar Phone Kyaw stated,
“When people hear the word ‘police,’ they often feel hatred and resistance. This is because of past misconduct and abuses committed by police forces. In any city where the people fear the police, happiness and peace cannot prevail. Therefore, it is necessary for the police to work more earnestly in upholding the rule of law.”
The opening ceremony was attended by senior leaders of the PSLF/TNLA, departmental officials, instructors, and trainees, totaling more than 50 participants.
3. Junta Troops Looting Homes of Displaced Civilians in Minhla Township Ambushed
In Minhla Township, Tharyarwaddy District, Bago Region, junta forces looting abandoned homes of civilians who fled due to conflict were ambushed, according to Battalion 3802, Company 2 of Tharyarwaddy District.
On April 26 around 9:00 AM, as junta troops were crossing the Kyoetant Bridge near Sa Chaung village, they were ambushed by resistance forces already lying in wait.

During the attack, 40mm grenades and small arms fire hit the junta troops, resulting in six soldiers reportedly killed on the spot, with many others injured.
Since clashes are expected to continue in the area, local residents have been warned to completely avoid the vicinity of junta positions. They were also alerted that the junta may respond with airstrikes, use civilians as human shields, and commit further atrocities, thus being urged to remain extremely cautious.
4. Senior Officer Killed and 16 Captured in Attack on Junta Base in Halee Kwe
On April 26 around 6:00 AM, revolutionary joint forces launched an assault on the junta base at Halee Kwe, located along Union Highway No. 8 near Maung Mae Shaung Village, Yebyu Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, according to the Duraka Column.
The attack resulted in the death of a junta major and the capture of 16 junta personnel. Additionally, revolutionary forces seized nine MA-1 rifles, one MA-2, six MA-3s, one MA-4, one MA-11, one BA-100 rifle, and related equipment.
The operation was led by the Dawei National Liberation Army (DNLA) Duraka Column, in collaboration with Yebyu People’s Defense Force (YPPDF), KNU Brigade 4 Battalion 12 Company 5, UOR Column, Dawei Guerrilla Revolutionary Force (DGRF), Tavoy People’s Liberation Force (TPLF-37), Sky Ghost Drone Force 1, Federal Dhuwan Star Force, and the East Forest People’s Defense Force.
5. Junta Airstrikes Kill Civilians in Kalay Township
At around 8:30 AM on April 27, junta forces conducted aerial bombings near Aung Chan Thar and Nga Phar villages in the southern part of Kalay Township, according to local sources.
Due to the heavy and continuous bombardment with numerous bombs, one civilian was killed and several cows were also reportedly killed.
Similarly, in the afternoon of April 26, junta forces carried out airstrikes using fighter jets and Y-12 aircraft, targeting Nat Chaung and Nat Myoung villages in Kalay Township. These attacks resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to at least five others.
It was reported that more than 30 bombs were dropped by the two aircraft, leading to civilian casualties and the destruction of many homes.

6. Man Killed by Junta Artillery Strike in Mobye
On the evening of April 27, around 4:00 PM, junta troops from Light Infantry Battalion 422 fired artillery shells near Mobye town, resulting in the death of U Li, a resident of Wari Kha Khu village, according to KPV News.
Reports say the victim was riding a motorcycle through the town when he was hit by artillery shrapnel, causing fatal injuries to his neck and lungs, leading to his death.
Heavy artillery shelling near Mobye continued throughout April 27. Similarly, on the evening of April 26 around 4:00 PM, two local residents, a father and son, were injured when the junta forces conducted a drone bombing attack in Mobye.
7. Airstrike Destroys Homes in Taungtha Township
On the morning of April 27, fighting broke out between resistance forces and the junta troops in Taung Khamauk Village, located in Taungtha Township, according to local reports. Following the clash, the military launched airstrikes on the village.
As a result of the attacks, several homes in the village caught fire and were destroyed. As of now, civilians have fled and are still in hiding to escape the danger.

Taung Khamauk Village has over 130 households. During the fires caused by the military’s airstrikes, villagers attempted to extinguish the flames, but junta soldiers reportedly opened fire on them, forcing the villagers to abandon their efforts and flee for their safety.
8. 4th Anniversary of Student Armed Force (SAF)

The Student Armed Force (SAF) held a ceremony to commemorate its 4th Anniversary, along with a graduation and arms presentation ceremony for its latest training batch.
The 4th Anniversary event of the Student Armed Force (SAF), which falls on April 27, was celebrated at the SAF Central Command Area. Following that, the graduation ceremony for the latest training course and the arms presentation were also conducted.
During the event, the SAF’s 4th Anniversary declaration was read aloud, a speech was delivered by the Commander-in-Chief, and activities such as the graduation and the formal equipping of weapons for the new graduates were carried out.

9. Nwar Htoe Gyi PDF Recruiting New Forces
The People’s Defense Force (NwahtoeGyi PDF) in NwahtoeGyi Township, Mandalay Region, has announced a recruitment drive for new members.
Applicants must be in good health, mentally resilient, between the ages of 18 and 35, free from drug use, and have no criminal record.
Additionally, recruits are expected to diligently perform assigned duties and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations set by the force.
Applicants must also reside within NwahtoeGyi Township. The recruitment notice emphasized that members will be required to serve until the military dictatorship is completely uprooted and a Federal Union is successfully established.
