1. Junta Destroys Myochaung–Seinkanlan Main Road in Minhla Township

On July 1, at around 10 a.m., the junta forces used bulldozers and earth-moving machines to destroy the Myochaung–Seinkanlan main road near Thaikmyoauk Hill, located in Minhla Township, western Bago Region. The road was a key route connecting eastern and western Bago and stretched about 112 kilometers.
Local reports from MinhlaThadin stated that the military, fearing attacks by resistance groups on Minhla Town and the LIB-1 base, brought in about 400 soldiers and three armored vehicles to conduct the operation. The destruction made it difficult for local residents to travel.
A similar incident happened on June 9, near the 2-mile checkpoint along the same road, where junta troops also used bulldozers to dig trenches roughly 10 yards wide.

On July 3, at around 4 p.m., the military also carried out a drone bombing on Thayawkon Village, in Minhla Township, damaging three homes and seriously injuring three civilians.
Since June 19, junta columns have been raiding various villages in the area. Over 200 houses across more than 10 villages have been burned down by military forces, according to local sources.


2. Landmine Attack Kills 8 Soldiers Including Officer in Sin Paung Wae

On June 27, at around 9:30 a.m., resistance fighters from PDF–Ponnawati Taung Twin Gyi ambushed junta troops moving between Koepin–Thagara road in Sin Paung Wae Township, Magway Region, during a routine checkpoint rotation.


The attack used 2 landmine points and involved ambush tactics, reportedly killing 8 soldiers, including a commissioned officer, and injuring 11 others.
The resistance warned the public to avoid military checkpoints and be cautious on Koepin–Thagara road, a critical military transport route.


3. Two Soldiers Killed by Mine Attack in Chaung-U Township

On July 3, at 2:45 p.m., a junta patrol unit from Myapulae compound, attempting to scout and secure a new outpost location in Khin Mon Village, Chaung-U Township (Sagaing Region), was ambushed with landmines.
According to the Burma Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF), 2 soldiers were killed. The mission was a joint effort by BLDF, Sadar Region 3, and Thalawaddy Strike Force – Upper Myanmar Mine Unit.


4. Administrator and Military Collaborator Shot Dead in Kamaung Gyi

On July 2, PDF–Kawthaung executed two individuals accused of collaborating with the military in Kamaung Gyi Township, Tanintharyi Region:

  • Chaw Kalet (a.k.a. Myint Shwein), from Eichanthar Village, was targeted for drug trafficking, informing on resistance groups, and oppressing locals.
  • Hla Naing, a junta-appointed village administrator from Seik Phu Village, was killed around 11:50 a.m. the same day.
    The resistance warned local residents against drug trade and collaboration, vowing further targeted actions.

5. Intense Fighting Continues in Nawnghkio, Northern Shan State

Battles between TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army) and junta forces continue in Nawnghkio Township, Shan State, at five different locations, including:

  • Naung Lin, Kyauk Taw, Oum Makhar, Lone San–Lone Yae, and Oum Mathi–Samma Sae.
    The military used 6 air-dropped bombs, 112 heavy artillery shells, and 20 drone bombs during attacks.
    On July 2, two air bombs, 85 artillery shells, and 13 drone bombs were used in Naung Lin village alone.
    Strikes also occurred in Kyauk Taw, Lone Yae, and even in areas without clashes, such as Ngauk Hla Lai Village.
    TNLA accused the junta of launching major assaults to recapture Nawnghkio, which is under resistance control.


6. Drone Attack on Pyu Militia Base in Sone Village, Myingyan

On June 28, resistance groups conducted a drone strike on the home and outpost of a Pyu militia leader named U San Maung, in Sone Village, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region.
According to TGYR – Youth Guerrilla Counter Revolution – NZ, the operation used:

Three 2kg bombs and ten 600g bombs
The strike targeted locations used for weapons and supply storage.
Gunfire was reported from junta troops during the attack, but casualty details are unknown.
The operation was a collaboration between TGYR Drone Team and Myingyan Northern Guerrilla Force.
