1. PDF Training Graduation Ceremony Successfully Held in Naypyidaw Region Battalion 808

The People’s Defense Force (PDF) Naypyidaw Regional Military Command’s Battalion 808 successfully held the graduation ceremony for Refresher Training Batch No. (1/2025).

The ceremony, involving 60 trainees, was held at a location within the territory controlled by the Naypyidaw Regional Military Command, according to sources.

The event was attended by the Naypyidaw Regional Military Commander, Lt. Col. Bo Laya, and leaders of the battalion unit.


2. PDF Attack on Military Convoy with Platoon Commander Graduates Kills 9 Including 8 Officers

According to the People’s Defense Force Thandaung, a convoy transporting platoon commanders who recently graduated from the military’s Infantry Tactical Training School in Bawinganong Garrison, Than Daung Gyi Township, Karen State, was ambushed.

The attack happened on June 7 at around 5:30 PM near the military outpost hill at the 7-mile mark along the Taungoo–Than Daung road. Nine were killed, including 8 platoon commanders, and four others were injured.

Previously, on May 27, revolutionary forces also attacked the Ton Bo Gyi military base along the Taungoo–Leik Tho road, though exact casualties remain unconfirmed.

The operations were carried out jointly by PDF Thandaung’s Battalion 2 under District Command 2 and allied forces.


3. Drone Attacks for Three Consecutive Days in Ye-U Town Kill Two Soldiers

Ye-U Freedom Comrades (YFC) reported that they carried out drone attacks for three consecutive days on military bases and checkpoints in Ye-U town, Sagaing Region, resulting in two soldiers being killed.

On June 6, at around 10:30 AM, a fixed-wing drone dropped three bombs on 32 junta soldiers stationed at Kyaphu Roundabout checkpoint. At 6:20 PM, bombs were also dropped on the military base and hospital near the same roundabout.

On June 7, another drone attack with three bombs targeted approximately 35 junta troops at the Gawi Park checkpoint on the western side of town. On June 8, another drone dropped two bombs on junta troops holding a conscription meeting at Magyitaw Monastic School.

Despite four artillery shells being fired back by junta forces, no harm was reported to the revolutionary fighters. The joint operations involved YFC, Wanpula group, and the 5/Mahura Kwayyine PDF from Shwebo District.


4. Seven Civilians Used as Human Shields Rescued, One Soldier Captured in Taungtha Battle

In a clash near Sintae-Wa Stream in Taungtha Township, the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) rescued seven civilians who had been used as human shields by junta forces and captured one soldier.

The junta column, led by a Major-ranked officer named Wannathay from the Taungtha-based junta forces, was traveling between Thanankone village and Pyusawhti camps, prompting a morning ambush by PDF on June 12.

The battle took place on the western bank of Sintae-Wa Stream. Although junta troops had forced seven male civilians to walk in front as human shields, PDF fighters managed to rescue all seven unharmed.

Afterward, fighting continued, resulting in the death of three junta soldiers. One, identified as Kyaw Naing Win from Transport Battalion 928, was captured. The rest of the soldiers fled.

Recovered from the clash were one G4 rifle, one MA3 rifle, 10 RPG rounds, 3 magazines, 118 bullets, a drone jammer, and other military supplies. No PDF members were harmed. The operation was conducted by the Taungtha PDF and allied forces.


5. Joint Attack in Yebyu Township Leaves at Least 3 Junta Soldiers Dead

In Yebyu Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, allied forces attacked a junta column advancing toward Aekanai village. At least three junta soldiers were reportedly killed, according to the Yebyu Township Allied Forces.

The battle occurred during clashes on May 29 and 30 between junta troops and the allied resistance forces.

After suffering losses, the junta troops reportedly retreated from the battle area.

The attacking forces included Yebyu PDF, Battalion 1 of Dawei District, Dawei People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) Thagara column, Daung Unit – 6 (Airborne), Unit – 7 (LPF), Red Dragon Guerrilla Force, and Shwe Bilu group.

The alliance announced they would continue coordinated and strong operations to eliminate junta forces and urged junta troops to defect and join the people as soon as possible.
