1. Mobye PDF Calls for Reinforcements Amid Intensifying Clashes
Date: June 1
As daily battles escalate between junta forces and revolutionary troops in Mobye, a frontline town along the Shan-Karenni border, Mobye PDF Battalion 1001 has issued a public call for increased support and reinforcements.
Since late April, the junta—backed by PNO-affiliated militia—has been launching renewed offensives to recapture Mobye, which has been under revolutionary control for over a year. Junta shelling has caused widespread damage to civilian homes inside the town.

With the fighting ongoing for over six months since November 2024, Mobye PDF is struggling with shortages of ammunition and military resources. While a fundraising campaign to mark the battalion’s fourth anniversary aims to raise 50 million kyats, public contributions remain insufficient, prompting renewed appeals for donations.

Other resistance groups, including the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF), have also called on the public and allies to assist with ammunition and supplies for the Mobye front.
2. Resistance Forces Attack 100-Troop Junta Column Near Min Kun
Date: June 1
People Servant Force (PSF) has released video footage showing a joint attack by resistance forces against a military column of about 100 troops advancing near Kin Village in the Min Kun area of Sagaing Township.
Around 6 a.m. on May 25, approximately 100 soldiers from the junta forces based in Kan Gyi Kone joined with the junta troops stationed at the Min Kun base to launch an offensive near Kin Village. The resistance forces engaged them in fierce combat.
During the battle, the resistance forces temporarily withdrew due to a shortage of ammunition. However, in the afternoon, they regrouped with Sagaing District Battalion 1, Battalion 2, and Zone 4 forces to counterattack and clear the area.
This coordinated operation involved the People Servant Force (PSF), Min Kun Township People’s Defense Force (PDF), Chanmyathazi Township PDF, Yadanabon LPDF, Unicorn Force, ACID Group, Zone 4 Joint Forces, Sagaing Township PDF, Sagaing District Battalion 1 and Battalion 2, as well as other local resistance groups.
3. Taungtha Pa-Ka-Fa Issues Final Warning to Junta Troops to Surrender
Date: June 1
The Taungtha Township People’s Defense Force (Pa-Ka-Fa) in Mandalay Region has issued what it describes as a final warning to junta-aligned soldiers, police, and Pyu Saw Htee militias: Surrender and defect while there is still time.
The warning follows a May 27 attack on two junta logistics vehicles traveling from Taungtha to Welaung, resulting in two junta soldiers killed, one police officer captured along with weapons and ammunition, and one vehicle seized.
In the statement, Pa-Ka-Fa also extended the appeal to government employees working under the junta, urging them to defect and join the people.
The group promised that defectors and their families would be provided with full support—housing, food, healthcare, and education for children. They further offered long-term security guarantees even into the post-revolution period.
For those wishing to emigrate, the group pledged to assist with safe relocation abroad.
The closing line emphasizes personal choice:
“There may be no better opportunity than this. Will you die for the junta’s leaders, or choose a future for your family?”
