“If we look at the entire revolutionary process, the terrorist military is getting closer and closer to falling from all sides, so they are doing more to divide the people and the revolutionary forces. We must provide correct news to our revolutionary comrades and the people in order to destroy the words and news that cause division. Also, we are all aware that the terrorist military is now looking for the last way out. Therefore, we must prepare various ways to respond to all possible outcomes,” Union Prime Minister said.
In addition, the Prime Minister said that the military council has to loosen the previously strict policies on the exchange rate to cure the shortage of foreign currency, and is no longer able to maintain stability in the country.
The meeting was led by Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann and attended by Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Permanent Secretaries and officials from departments.

On December 17, B.G.F soldier Saw Pe Htoo (asa) Tawt Bayar from Cantonment 4 of Battalion 1022 under the coup military council defected along with one M-4 rifle, 7 M-4 cartridges, 60 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, and 2 hand grenades.
On December 15, the B.G.F soldier Kaung Set Htun from the same Cantonment 4 of Battalion 1022 also defected with the ammunition such as one M-4 Carbine, one M-4 cartridge and 20 rounds of 5.56 ammunition.

“A drone attack was conducted on Nyaungpinwun Police Station in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Division. At 10:00 p.m. on December 19, led by the No. 1844 Drone Force (Kyaukse District Drone Force), Kyaukse District Battalion-1 (Red Dragon Battalion), allied drone forces and local defense forces cooperatively attacked with drones by dropping more than 20 bombs on Nyaungpinwun Police Station,” it stated.
The attack was conducted while the junta soldiers, Pyu Saw Htee members and police were taking a meal, who had come to enter the villages and burn down the people’s houses.
It was reported that at least 7 junta soldiers were killed in the attack, and the bodies of the dead were thrown into the river.
