The minister stated:
“During the 3-year period of the People’s Revolution, I have met with almost all ERO leaders in person and online continuously. Every time we met, I notice all the leaders had a “union spirit”.
I found that all the ethnic leaders are not trying to become subservient to foreign countries or to be divided, but rather have the desire to have the right to self-determination and dignity and are willing to work together to establish a new independent union.
They all agreed that the military dictatorship must be rooted out in order to establish a new union.
Regarding the military junta, the ethnic leaders have more experience than us. It can be said that all the ethnic leaders and organizations are too familiar with the acts of the military junta. It is beneficial for us to have the opportunity to learn from their experience.
We all agreed that we would have to work together in a balanced way, not individually, in order to root out the military dictatorship.
If you ask if there is understanding, trust, and a common attitude between NUG and EROs, I would like to answer that there is an important and fundamental understanding, trust, and common attitude.
I want to inform that there has been coordination and cooperation, both politically and strategically.
The current common goal is to root out the military dictatorship. When the revolution achieves its victory, there will be many things to talk about among us, such as the issue of the federal unit, the territory of each federal unit, and the issue of defining territories.
In dealing with these issues, we have all made a commitment that we will have discussions and negotiations without using force.
Our revolutionary forces are moving forward along with the revolutionary people.”
