Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung warned on social media that rumors and half-truth messages often distort reality.

“I don’t want people to be too quick to criticize and judge. I want all to be full of rationality and to move forward towards your own political goals with high momentum without losing sight. Rumors and half-truths always distort the reality. Dictators use these half-truths to shape the public opinion they want. Sometimes, the dictator doesn’t have to put in much effort to get what they want. So we must be careful not to follow their scene and approach it with caution. It’s very important,” the Union Minister stated.

On December 11, it was reported that the terrorist junta met with three Northern Brotherhood Alliances.

2. NUG Union Ministers attended the meeting between the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division

On December 11, the meeting between the NUG’s Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division (51/2023) was held. At the meeting, Union Minister for Labour U Nai Tun Pe @ U Nai Suwunna, a member of ILACC, gave an opening speech.

Following, officials from ministries explained the activities of relevant ministries, and then members of the township people’s administrative bodies exchanged views with relevant officials regarding policies, directions, activities, and challenges encountered on the ground.

The meeting was attended by Union Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Secretaries, officials from ministries, and members of the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division.

3. The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration held a meeting with the township people’s administrative bodies in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Yangon and Tanintharyi Divisions

On December 11, at 10:00 a.m., the meeting between the NUG Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MOHAI) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Bago, Ayeyarwady, Yangon and Tanintharyi Divisions (24/2023) was held. At the meeting, the Associate Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, gave an opening speech, and the Director General of MOHAI explained the activities of the ministries.

Following, the attending members of the township people’s administrative bodies exchanged views with relevant officials regarding the policies, direction, ground administrative activities, difficulties, and challenges encountered on the ground. Then, the Associate Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration gave a closing remark and the meeting ended at 11:30 a.m.

The meeting was attended by the Permanent Secretary, Associate Permanent Secretary, officials from the Public Administration Department, Police Department, Fire Department, Immigration Department, and Department of Special Investigation, as well as members of the township people’s administrative bodies of Bago, Ayeyarwady, Yangon and Tanintharyi Divisions.

4. A meeting was held between representatives of the 3 parliaments in Mandalay Region and township people’s administrative bodies (7/2023)

It is reported that a monthly meeting (7/2023) between the representatives of the 3 parliaments of Mandalay Region with the township people’s administrative bodies in Mandalay Region was held on December 11.

Pyithu Hluttaw representative, CRPH member U Myo Naing and public strike leader Dr. Tay Zar San also participated in the meeting and discussed various aspects of the current People’s Spring Revolution such as politics, military, alliance relations, international relations, finance, public struggle, and morale.

In addition, U Myint Aung Moe, the Focal of the People’s Administrative Body of Mandalay Region, along with U Aung Myo Latt and U Chan Myay, also discussed the future processes to be carried out by the township people’s administrative bodies in the region. It is reported that the representatives and members of the township people’s administrative bodies who attended the meeting exchanged views with officials in the discussion.

5. CDM Civil Servants Council in Mon State (CCSC-MON) met with elected members of Parliament in Mon State

CDM Civil Servants Council in Mon State (CCSC-MON) reported that a meeting was held between the elected parliamentarians from the 3 Hluttaws of Mon State and the CDM Civil Servants Council in Mon State (CCSC-MON) via Zoom Meeting. The meeting was held on December 11 at 10:00 a.m. and was attended by representatives of the Amyotha Hluttaw, representatives of the Pyithu Hluttaw, representatives of the State/Regional Hluttaw and the chairman and members of the CDM Civil Servants Council in Mon State.

In the meeting, the general secretary of CCSC-MON explained the formation, organization, structure, purpose, policy, values, and strategic processes of the council. The members of parliament welcomed the emergence of the council and said they wanted the council to establish a platform to connect and communicate with each other and hoped to work together.

CCSC-MON also expressed its gratitude for the connection assistance and discussed again that a communication platform will be established. Then, the meeting was stopped at 12 noon after recording photos.

6. In Shwebo Township, the village people’s administrative body was formed after selection through the first voting system

According to the Shwebo Township PaAFa, the village people’s administrative body was formed in a village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Division, after selection through a voting system for the first time. It is said that 729 people in the village attended and voted in the election of the village people’s administrative body.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration has announced that village people’s administrative bodies are being formed in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by the National Unity Government’s Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) to carry out the defense, administration, public service activities, and law enforcement activities in the villages in order to protect the lives and property of the people.

7. More than 20 junta soldiers were killed in a 2-day attack on a military logistic convoy on the Thaton-Bilin Road

Local defense forces stated that more than 20 members of the terrorist military council were killed in a 2-day attack on a military logistic convoy on the Thaton-Bilin Road in Mon State.

On December 7, at around 8:30 p.m., a convoy carrying food and reinforcements of the terrorist military council was mined, and a vehicle was damaged in the 40mm and RPG 79 attack.

On December 8, at around 10:45 a.m., the military convoy was attacked with heavy weapons and small arms, and more than 20 members of the terrorist military council were killed, according to local defense forces.

The attacks were carried out by the Company 3 of the Battalion 2 of Thaton District, KNU/KNLA Brigade 1 and the Hawk Revolution Squad – HRS.

8. The KNLA burned down the Confet camp

On November 17, 2023, the Karen National Liberation Army (K.N.LA) and joint revolutionary forces attacked and captured the frontline camp at the mountain base in Hsaw Htee Township, Kler Lwee Htoo District, Mya, Kawthoolei Administrative Area of the Karen National Union. It is said that the Win K’lone military camp, which was supported by mutual security with that camp, was no longer safe, so the Column 2 of the LIB-352 which was stationed at the camp left the camp on December 2.

Then, on December 7, 2023, the military council troops that had a foothold at the Konfet camp retreated from the camp. Hence, on December 10, the Karen National Liberation Army (K.N.LA) went there, cleared it and burned it down.

It is reported that the coup terrorist military council troops who retreated from those camps have rejoined the military camps closest to the city.

9. The Global Spring Revolution demonstration was held by Myanmar-born ethnic families in Italy as a commemoration of International Human Rights Day in Milan, Italy

On December 10, Myanmar-born ethnic families in Italy organized a Global Spring Revolution demonstration in Milan, Italy, as a commemoration of International Human Rights Day, for the Myanmar people whose basic human rights are being severely violated.

They called for an immediate stop to the severe human rights violations being committed by the military junta in Myanmar and the immediate release of unjustly arrested political prisoners. They protested that they will strike until the victory of the Spring Revolution disclosing the inhumane injustices committed by war criminals, both internally and externally.

It stated that they will not remain silent because of the military junta that wants to enslave everyone who has been living in Myanmar for three generations, using a variety of degrading and cruel methods, and they will strike for the eradication of the military dictatorship together with the ethnic people of any region to fulfill their historical responsibility.
