1. The NUG Acting President urged to try for getting support for the Spring Revolution by focusing on the attitudes and roles of China, India, and Thailand, which border Myanmar
Due to the important roles and attitudes of China, India, and Thailand, which border Myanmar, the Acting President of the National Unity Government, Duwa Lashi La, urged to seriously analyze and work together to get good support for the Spring Revolution.
“We need to look at the global political situation and take steps to improve the domestic situation. In addition, we need to pay special attention to the attitudes and actions of the regional countries that are geographically close to our country and try to get good support for the Spring Revolution.
Soon, the Spring Revolution will be 3 years completed. During the revolution that we have been through, there have been political steps that we have been able to take step by step. In order to continue to develop a progressive political scene, I would like to say that we should not only focus on our own domestic situation but also pay attention to the status of relations with regional countries.
Especially the attitudes of China, Thailand, and India have a lot of impact on the domestic situation of our country. Our country is at the geographical intersection of China, India, and Thailand. Domestic military and political developments are directly related to neighboring countries.
Therefore, I also encourage to take diplomatic relations between the countries of the region such as China, India, Thailand and Bangladesh seriously.
“We are very grateful to the neighboring countries for their assistance in matters that have come to the border area. Due to the military coup by the military council, the neighboring countries have to bear an additional burden, so it is important to eradicate the military dictatorship and the military junta,” he continued.
In addition, the Acting President said, “We need to carefully observe and study the status of major countries that are involved in our country militarily, politically, and economically. In addition to political relations that are directly related to domestic politics, there are large countries that are mainly engaged in military relations. Only by understanding the twists and turns of these military-political relations and pulling up the revolutionary military situation of the Spring Revolution, will we achieve victory quickly with effective steps.”
