Protest in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York against the terrorist military

NYCBC led a protest in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York on 2nd August to call for action against the terrorist military.

U Kyaw Moe Tun, Myanmar’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations, attended the protest.

The protest was to call for action against the Myanmar military’s plan to execute more than 100 innocent spring revolution activists, including 9 women, after the execution of 4 pro-democracy activists

Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing urges to focus on the spring revolution

On 3August, Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing wrote on social media to focus on the spring revolution.                                                                                                                                

“Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan has arrived at its destination while she was as if to go or not to go. The balance of power of the world is based on the principle of self-interest. Taking this as a given matter of fact, focus only on self-country and self-revolution, which means that we have only us,”

The Minister said

After the military coup on 1 February 2021, the Spring Revolution against the military regime emerged.

“Get up and create self destiny. End Min Aung Hlaing and the military dictatorship.”

Minister U Tin Tun Naing also said,

Minister Dr. Sasa says that the focus is on the international unrecognition and sanctions of terrorist military councils and generals

Union Minister for International Cooperation, Dr. Sasa said in the ‘People to People’ interview program that the focus is on the international unrecognition and sanctions of terrorist military councils and generals.

“The military council and generals not to be recognized internationally is what we are constantly doing. In addition to not to recognize them, we work for international sanctions against them. Is there any company related to Min Aung Hlaing, what are the connections of any business related to terrorist leaders? Which company helps the terrorist generals buy weapons? Do they kill the civilians? We constantly watch all these and sent the information we get to the relevant government. After that the relevant government sanctions them,”

the Minister said.

At present, countries such as EU, UK, and United States are sanctioning the terrorist military leaders and businesses related to them.

Union Minister Naw Susanna Hla Hla Soe says that a Spring Tour tourism is planned for bunkers, after the revolution

Union Minister Naw Susanna Hla Hla Soe said on 2 August,

“The digging of bunkers is like the new normal since there are frequent airstrikes on this side. Nobody is afraid anymore, going to school regularly, working regularly, and running into the bunkers when there are warnings. Watermelon soldiers are very reliable. (Here, ‘watermelon soldiers’ means the informer soldiers who hide their attachment to democracy and the red flag of the ousted civilian administration under their green uniforms.) Therefore, the damage caused by the airstrikes is very small. No one has the idea to move. Everybody is attached to their own land and region. One day we have to tell the world how we got through these tough situations, and a Spring Tour tourism business is planned for these places.”

The military troops are bombing civilian places in ethnic areas using fighter jets.

NUG Education Plenary Festival and Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony were held in Kani Township, Sagaing Division

On 2 August, the National Unity Government (NUG) Education Plenary Festival and Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony were held in a village in Kani Township, Sagaing Division.

The ceremony was attended by parents, teachers, students, and relevant officials.

Kani Township is frequently invaded by the military troops, but people’s education schools are opening in areas secured by the People’s Defense Forces.

10 military soldiers died in the battle of Thayar Gone village in the south of Kalay Township

On 3 August, PDF Kalay Battalion 1 released a battle report.

It said, “On 2 August, during the battle of Thayar Gone village in the south of Kalay Township, 10 military soldiers died due to attack by the comrades of PDF Kalay Battalion 1.”

PDF Kalay Battalion 1 has issued a warning not to travel to the south of Kale Township for the time being and for residents to evacuate.

A mine attack on more than 30 military convoys driving from Mandalay to Monywa killed seven soldiers

ZERO Guerrilla Force – Myingyan released a battle report on 3 August that seven soldiers were killed in a mine attack on more than 30 military convoys driving from Mandalay to Monywa.

On the afternoon of 2 August, a land mine was launched on the way to Alakapa, and the first car full of soldiers was blown up and at least 7 soldiers were killed.

It is reported that the severely wounded soldiers and many with amputated legs and arms arrived at Myinmu Hospital.

The operation was carried out jointly by ZERO Guerrilla Force (Myingyan), PKDF, DBBF, and G4G PDF.

5,000 NUGPay Wallets have been opened

On 2 August, the NUGPay announced, “5,000 NUGPay Wallets have been opened. This is the halfway point of the trial period, and NUGPay will always be there with better services.”

The NUGPay also stated that they are doing their best to provide more services that can be used to pay with NUGPay.

It is also announced that the NUGPay will be gradually implemented to cover the entire country.
