NUCC urges all citizens to participate in the campaign so that U Kyaw Moe Tun can continue to be elected and formally reject the State Administration Council (Terrorist Military Council) at the UN General Assembly
National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) stated that the Credential Issue of the 77th UN General Assembly which will be held in September 2022 is an important chance for the people of Myanmar.
Therefore, NUCC called for all citizens to participate in the campaign so that U Kyaw Moe Tun can continue to be elected and formally reject the Terrorist Military Council at the UN General Assembly.
It is stated that only if the Credential truly represents the citizens, the voices and stories of the citizens could be presented to the countries of the world and discussed, and we will also have the opportunity to participate in world affairs, as the representative of the country.
Myanmar democracy activists domestic or abroad are invited to submit proposals for slogans to be used in the Credential Challenge Global Campaign. The slogan to be submitted must be a rallying cry for
- United Nations
- ASEAN
- International Community, and
- Myanmar democracy activists domestic or abroad.
It is said that the submitters can submit specific slogans for individuals or a single general slogan for all.
The selected slogan and Facebook profile picture frame design will be announced on the NUCC Facebook page and website on 31 August, and from 1 September, the Credential Challenge Global Campaign will be launched worldwide in various online/offline formats.

Foreign Minister said in a message sent to the opening of the Representative Office in Japan on 1 August.
“For the ultimate political goal of the citizens of the Union of Myanmar, which is the establishment of a federal democratic system, and the overthrow of the coup d’état military council, the encouragement and support of international partners and Myanmar citizens abroad is the main lifeblood of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is fighting from the diplomatic front,”

Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government releases that the terrorist military committed 5,550 acts of violence against civilians in June.
According to Ministry of Defence, there were 5,550 acts of violence against civilians by the terrorist military council, and 2,908 civilians were killed, 1,911 were injured, and 10,955 were arrested.
There were 5,337 battles of resistance in the whole of Myanmar, 1,816 military council soldiers, including battalion commanders, were killed and 6,128 were injured.
Ministry of Defence also says it has been 18 months since the terrorist military council unjustly seized power from the people, but it is still not allowed to rule completely.
The Ministry of Human Rights announced that the ministry has received detailed records of two incidents of targeted attacks on the public in Sagaing Division by the terrorist military council and that there are more villages that have been attacked.
Deputy Foreign Minister, U Moe Zaw Oo met with the Assistant Secretary of State of the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs
U Moe Zaw Oo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Unity Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, met with Daniel J. Kritenbrink, Assistant Secretary of State of the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, on 2 August.
The meeting discussed with a special emphasis on the terrorist military council’s horrific executions, and also discussed how to cooperate to end the terrorist activities of the military council, and how to set up support for the people of Myanmar.
The meeting was also published on the Twitter page of the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, United States.
United States is also a partner country making efforts to return Myanmar to the path of democracy.

Defense forces raided the military troops and Pyu Saw Htee stationed in Min village
People Defense Force-Yesagyo said that they attacked the military troops and Pyu Saw Htee stationed in Min village at 10 p.m. on 1st August.
“At around 10:00 p.m., the allied force raided the military troops and Pyu Saw Htee of around 80 troops stationed in Min village, and a clash broke out for about half an hour,”
they said.
The operation was carried out by People Defense Force-Yesagyo, Hawk Guerrilla Force, Phoenix-Special Guerrilla Force, YLK Guerrilla Force, Comrade Brothers PDF, and Young Fighter Guerrilla Force.
There may be casualties on the side of the military council soldiers, and the details are still under investigation.
A donor made an honorable donation with a NUG Bond for the hero Maung Sithu Min of Kawlin District Battalion (Battalion 3)
Our Spring Heroes announced a treasury bond purchase donation on 1 August.
It stated, “While the people of Nway Oo bowed to salute the brave comrade Maung Sithu Min who gave his life while fighting for the country and the people, a donor presented a ‘Treasury Bond for the Spring Hero’ to help the bereaved family.”
On 1 October 2021, Maung Sithu Min – a comrade from Kawlin District Battalion (Battalion 3) sacrificed his life while fighting against the terrorist junta during the battle in Kawlin District, Sagaing Division.
It is also stated that people can contact and purchase ‘Treasury Bond for the Spring Hero’ as a dedicated donation for Nway Oo Heros and donate to their bereaved families.
