On the Full Moon Day of Waso (Dhammacakka Sutta Day), the National Unity Government wishes good luck to the people of Myanmar

On July 12, various cabinet members wrote on social media wishing the people of Myanmar on the Full Moon Day of Waso (Dhammacakka Sutta Day).

Foreign Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung said, “Today is the Full Moon Day of Waso (Dhammacakka Sutta Day), which is a sacred day for Buddhists — Conception, Renunciation, First Sermon (Dhammacakka Sutta), Showing Miracles. On the Full Moon Day of Waso today, I wish all Buddhists all over the world free from harm, safety, and peace. I wish all the people of Myanmar success in overcoming their troubles and I wish all the people of Myanmar success in overcoming their troubles and enjoying new days of peace.”

Similarly, Human Rights Minister U Aung Myo Min said, “I wish all the people of Myanmar peace and prosperity on the Full Moon Day of Waso — the holy month, which is the beginning of the period of the Buddhist Lent in Myanmar.”

Since the military coup on 1 February 2021, the people of Myanmar have suffered arrests and house fires.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Dr. Tu Hkawng also said, “On this Full Moon Day of Waso (Dhammacakka Sutta Day), I wish all Buddhists all over the world a safe and peaceful life.”

NUG Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing says the Spring Revolution is not stagnant

In an interview with RFA on 11 July, Union Minister for Planning, Finance and Investment — U Tin Tun Naing said, “Regarding the revolution, we have already received promises from the partner countries that they will provide assistance and support (that they have never given) in the near future, under the title of humanitarianism. Also, the ethnic brothers and allies working with us in the country are working to speed up the resistance war. It means that this revolution is not a revolution that stops.”

The military junta troops have been hit hardest in Sagaing Division, Magway Division, Karenni Region, Kayin State, and Chin State and are heavy casualties.

In an interview with RFA on 11 July, Union Minister for Planning, Finance and Investment — U Tin Tun Naing said, “As of the first week of July, our ministry was able to raise a total of 47 million US dollars with the input and participation of the public. It has also been announced at the press conference of the National Unity Government that 85 percent of that amount was spent on defense expenses, so about 44 million US dollars has been spent on defense.”

At present, EOD has sold more than USD 8 million in shares of the Terrorist Military Leader Min Aung Hlaing’s house on 14/Inya Road in Yangon.

The Central Committee Implementing Interim Local People Administration and the Committee Representing Irrawaddy Region Hluttaw held the second meeting

The Central Committee Implementing Interim Local People Administration of the National Unity Government met with the Committee Representing Irrawaddy Region Hluttaw on the afternoon of 11 July.

At the meeting, Union Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Dr. Win Myat Aye delivered an Opening Speech. Then, the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration in June, the situation of cooperation between the revolutionary forces in the Irrawaddy Division, the issues of providing assistance to public life in connection with the ground movements, and the issues that must be cooperated in a balance manner, in line with the need to gather forces scattered in all areas, etc were discussed in the meeting.”

Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, who are members of the Central Committee Implementing Interim Local People Administration, along with other members, responsible persons from the Committee Representing Irrawaddy Region Hluttaw, permanent secretaries and director generals from various ministries attended the meeting.

Civil Servants of Kalay University can contact the “Kalay University Students’ Union” at any time if they have any difficulties

Kalay University Students Union announced on 11 July, “People are going through a very tough time at present, so we would like to inform you that the Kalay University civil servants can contact the Kalay University Students’ Union at any time if there is any problem.”

On 1 February 2021, the Terrorist Military Council unjustly seized the country’s power from the people’s elected government.

Since that day, the civil servants of Kalay University who have stood up for the truth had been provided support three times by the Kalay University CDM Support Committee, CDM Support Teams by Subjects, and the Kalay University Students’ Union.

Tamu District local defense force directs the administrators appointed by the military council to resign within 10 days

On 10 July, Tamu District local defense force directed the administrators appointed by the military council in Tamu District, Sagaing Division to resign within 10 days.

It stated, “The ward administrators appointed by the terrorist military council should resign and leave their areas of responsibility and if they do not comply within 10 days, they will be severely punished by the rules.”

The announcement also stated, “People’s Administration Power is currently being established in Sagaing Division, removing the administrative mechanism of the military council.”

Therefore, the National Unity Government has started to operate people’s administration mechanisms by forming village, ward, township, and district level people’s administrations in Sagaing Division.

The Tamu District people’s defense force had ordered all those in charge of all levels of the administration who had been serving under the coup d’état military council to leave their positions and the areas of responsibility within 10 days from that day (10 July).

Special Nway Oo, in collaboration with allied forces, blew up a traffic police post near 9-Mile Ocean Center, Yangon

Special Nway Oo reported that at 8:25 pm on 11 July, a traffic police post was blown up near 9-Mile Ocean Center.

The explosive attack was carried out jointly by Special Nway Oo (SNO) and GOD’s HAND FORCES (GHS).

It also stated that, in the future, there would be military attacks on the locations of the military forces, so the public was warned to stay away from the military posts.

The fighting between the military troops and the local defense forces was intense in villages near the border of Joe Taung village, Wuntho Township

Wuntho revolutionary forces reported that starting from 10:00 am on 12 July, there was a shooting on both sides.

The report said, “At around 10:00 am this morning, there was a clash between local people’s defense forces and the military council troops near the border of Joe Taung village — Sakarni village, Hnaingkwin/Thataw village.”

Due to the clash, residents from nearby villages are fleeing and the extent of  damage is not yet known.
