Acting President Duwa Lashi La remarked that a lot of money has spent on installing weapons
In an interview, the Acting President of the National Unity Government Duwa Lashi La remarked, “We are trying to figure out our way to install weapons, and we have to spend a lot on installing weapons.”
The Ministry of Planning, Finance, and Investment of the National Unity Government announced a statement that, to this day, the ministry had raised 42 million USD since the beginning of the revolution.
In addition, Defense Minister U Ye Mon said that 85 percent of the budget allocated to the ministry have spent on installing weapons.

At the No. (14/2022) meeting of the Central Committee for Interim Local Public Administration on 2 June, Prime Minister remarked, “The relevant ministries need to try their best to speed up the humanitarian assistance, and concerning the implementation of people’s administration in Special region, it is necessary the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Immigration to collaborate with the Ministry of Defense to harmonize the procedures of defense, security and administration.”

On 1 June 2022, the Union Minister of Health and Education of the National Unity Government Dr. Zaw Wai Soe had a meeting with the Vice-President of the European Parliament, the member of European Parliament, and the Director of European Parliament – Parliament Relations with ASEAN and South East Asia in Brussels, Belgium.
During the meeting, the Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe discussed the updated situation in Myanmar.

At the UN Security Council Open Debate on “Strengthening Accountability and justice for Serious Violations of International Laws”, held on 2 June 2022, Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun stated, “The illegal military regime has brutally murdered over 1,880 civilians and committed massacre after massacre. The military’s indiscriminate attacks and collective punishment against civilians have displaced more than 600,000 civilians, making the total number of IDPs over a million now. Widespread arbitrary arrests, violent raids into private homes, illegal confiscation of properties, torture in custody and alarming numbers of death sentences by bogus military tribunals continue unabated. It is clear that the military has weaponized the law as a tool to instill fear by issuing unappealable, unjustifiable arbitrary arrests and death penalties.”
“World Environment Day 2022” will be celebrated
As a celebration of “World Environment Day 2022”, which will fall on 5 June 2022, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation of the National Unity Government will hold a webinar with the theme of “Only One Earth – Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature, Getting out of Dictatorship” in collaboration with KNU-Karen National Union Central Forest Department at 7:00 pm on 5 June 2022 (Sunday).
At the webinar, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Dr.Tu Hkawng and Head of KNU-Karen National Union Central Forest Department P’doh Mahn Ba Tun will give opening remarks, and Mya Hnin Yee Lwin, an actor who has been participating actively in the revolution, will perform as the moderator.

On 2 June, 88 Generation Student Leader Min Ko Naing wrote on his social media, “Not to mention the diplomatic crisis of the military regime, dissatisfactions within the military, the loss of a battalion base like Tae’ Baw Boe, where they have been stationed for thirty years, and facing numerous operations in eight directions, it is time for the revolution and people to move on by all means with the spirit of victory, and the hands that the military regime expected to rely on are avoiding now.”

Tin Ma Sayadaw U Wayaminda said that refugees from Plaletwa are arriving at refugee camps in Kyauktaw due to the clashes between the Arakan Army (AA) and the military regime in Paletwa, Chin State, near the border of Rakhine State.
U Tin Hlaing, a person in charge of Kyauktaw Township Refugee Camp, said that villagers from Tin Ma village, where more than a thousand houses, nearly the whole village, were burnt down in the clashes in March 2020, are fleeing to refugee camps near Kyauktaw. He added that though we receive some aid from the government, donors, and WFP at that time, there are almost no donors at the moment.
According to figures released by Rakhine Ethnic Congress (REC) in 2021, there were more than 70,000 IDPs in Rakhine State refugee camps and more than 50,000 are taking refugees with close relatives, a total of more than 120,000 people are taking refugees.
