It is reported that Seikphyu Barmahti People’s Defense Force serving as Pakokku District Battalion 19 Company 1 informed that building the discipline for obedience to command and to follow the Code of Conduct. On July 30, Seikphyu Barmahti People’s Defense Force reported.
“Why are there fewer military missions of Seikphyu Barmahti People’s Defense Force which is serving as Pakokku District Battalion 19 Company 1? It is because they have been trying to build the basic political ideas of military composition, and obedience to orders and warrior conduct which are 2 parts of COC,” it stated.
It is also said that there are various needs in revolting while building up depending on the situation of the area.
2. People’s Defense Force – Mandalay issued a notice to purchase and use only the cost of goods (mandatory) paid when purchasing necessary goods
Since the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) is a revolutionary force organized to protect the public by adhering to ethics and good military discipline, all the soldiers of the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) at all levels are instructed to pay the price (mandatory) for the purchase of necessary goods for the force in the area where the force is stationed.
People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) has appealed to local people and shopkeepers to accept the payment as it costs when comrades shop.
3. A large number of youths entering the BGF to avoid conscription
According to the report of the Kachin Information Center (KIC), BGF officials said that many youths from all over the region are joining the Border Guard Force-BGF forces in Karen State to avoid the conscription law of the coup military council.
In addition to Karen State, many Karen and Bamar youths in Ayeyarwady Region have joined the BGF forces and the number of military personnel has increased. It is assumed that currently, the BGF does not take any side, so many youths take shelter in it.
Similarly, youths in Hpa-An, Kyondoe, and Hlaingbwe Townships of Karen State joined the BGF because of good salaries and no need to go to the front line but only needed to take the security of the neighborhoods by staying in their own villages at a time when they are unemployed and avoiding the conscription law, according to a family member of BGF member.
It is reported that the youths who joined the BGF are receiving military training at the Hotel Compound at the base of Hpa-An Mount Zwegabin owned by the BGF, Myaing Gyi Ngu Pan Taw Hmee BGF Battalion, and Shwe Koke Ko BGF Battalion. A person close to the BGF officer, who did not want to be named, said that each of these youths is being provided with a basic salary of 3,000 to 5,000 Thai baht.
4. Fighting continued in Mongmit Township, and the Military Council dropped weapons and ammunition with Y12 aircraft
Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) released the military news that a battle broke out with the IB-348 of the Military Council’s Military Operation Command headquarters MOC-21 at Mongmit Strategic Hill at 6:30 a.m. on July 30 and a fierce battle also broke out with the IB-276 of MOC-21 at Doepin Village of Mongmit Township.
It is reported that the Military Council came to Mongmit Strategic Hill where the fighting was going and bombarded with 14 bombs with Y12 aircraft. Then, that Y12 aircraft delivered weapons and ammunition to the military camps of LIB-501 and LIB-502 based in Kyaukme Township.
5. In Lashio, 5 military council battalions, including the military camp stationed at Mansu Pagoda and the AD toll gate camp
Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) released the military news that 5 military council battalions in Lashio, northern Shan State, including the military camp stationed at Mansu Pagoda and the AD toll gate camp, were captured.
On July 30, MNDAA successfully defeated the remnants of the coup military hiding in Mansu Pagoda at Ward 8 of Lashio City. On July 27, at 3:05 pm, MNDAA captured the AD toll gate camp, and on the same day, a total of 4 military council camps were successfully captured.
It is reported that MNDAA medical staff checked the recovery of wounded prisoners of war and provided medical treatment during the camp capture battles. Fierce battle is taking place at YaMaKha headquarters (Northeastern Military Command headquarters) in Lashio, and fires are breaking out.
6. 3 military vehicles coming from Mandalay to Yangon were mined and shot with small arms on the Yangon-Mandalay highway
Natogyi People Defence Force (Myingyan District Battalion 4) released the military news that on July 29, at 8:00 a.m. 3 military vehicles with a force of around 40 soldiers were attacked with mines and small arms on the Yangon-Mandalay highway while driving from Mandalay to Yangon. In the attack, a vehicle caught fire and several soldiers were reportedly killed.
Since July 30, Natogyi People Defence Force (Myingyan District Battalion 4) has been carrying out inspections on the roads connected to Natogyi Township. Therefore, it has appealed to the public to cooperate and follow the rules without driving away.
7. Mine attacks on the IB-82 outpost gate in Mingaladon and the veterans’ office in Hlegu
Operation Flame (OF) reported that they attacked the veterans’ office on the Yangon-Pago Road in Hlegu Township at around 7:10 p.m. on July 30, and the IB-82 outpost gate at No. 3 Street in the Shwe Nantha Ward, Mingaladon Township at 7:15 p.m. using remote-controlled mines. After the attack, there was some damage from the enemy, and the details are still being investigated.
Operation Flame (OF) has announced that it will work together with all allies of Yangon Urban Revolution Forces to attack the terrorist military at a higher pace, and it will conduct Yangon Urban Operations in a balanced manner in full support of the “1027 Operation Part 2” of the 3 Northern Brotherhood Alliance and allied revolutionary forces.
8. More than 100 military council soldiers who came from Southern Shan to reinforce Kyaukme were killed and the bodies were cremated by TNLA and social welfare organizations
Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that according to the on the front line, Ta’ang Army – TNLA and social welfare organizations cremated more than 100 bodies of the military council soldiers who died during the Kyaukme battle in Northern Shan.
On July 15, nearly 500 military council forces under the 11th Division, which came to reinforce Kyaukme from Southern Shan, penetrated Kyaukme town. The TNLA and joint forces were able to fight off the military council troops within a few days and regained control of Kyaukme town on July 24. During the fighting, more than 100 military council soldiers were killed and many prisoners of war were captured by the TNLA and joint forces. There are still bodies of the military council soldiers that have not been able to pick up. Because the bodies were scattered, mangled, and decayed, 15 or 16 bodies were gathered together and burned in the streets.
In addition, among the troops sent by the Military Council as reinforcements were those who were recruited after the enforcement of the conscription law. The captured prisoners of war said that these reinforcements were sent through Yangon’s Mingaladon Airport to Heho, Bahtoo, Lawksawk, and Dokhtawaddy Bridges and then entered Kyaukme through Noung Pain Lay.

On July 30, Taungtha Township Public Defense Force reported that a junta soldier who defected to Taungtha Township People’s Defense Force along with a weapon to take shelter in people’s embrace was awarded.
“Don’t sacrifice (absolutely) yourself and your family’s precious lives for a handful of selfish generals who only look out for their own interests. Stand with the people with dignity and take refuge in the people’s embrace,” it stated.
