1. Four Civilians Killed as Military Fires on Passenger Vehicles in Seikphyu Township
April 6
According to the People’s Defense Team of Seikphyu Township in Magway Region, four civilians were killed when two passenger vehicles were fired upon by junta forces near Kuto-Pyusawhti Village.
The attack occurred around 9 PM on April 3, between Kuto Pyusawhti and Aung Wa villages. Junta forces opened fire on the civilian vehicles, and pro-junta lobbyists are now spreading propaganda blaming the incident on resistance forces.
It’s reported that junta troops had been conducting clearance operations in the area since April 1, and around 60 soldiers were stationed nearby, concealed in outposts.
The Seikphyu People’s Defense Team condemned the junta’s actions and propaganda, stating that the regime was deliberately targeting civilians to turn public opinion against the resistance. They warned that they will retaliate.
The group also reported increasing brutality by junta forces, including arresting and killing civilians, bombing populated areas, planting landmines in villages, restricting daytime travel, extorting money, and using martial law to arbitrarily arrest targeted individuals.
Locals have been advised to travel only between 5 AM and 7 PM for their safety.

2. CNA Camp Attacked by Junta and ZRA Forces; Nakzang Village Burned Down
April 6
In Tonzang Township, Chin State, the junta army and its allied group Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) launched an attack on a camp belonging to the Chin National Army (CNA), later burning down Nakzang Village, according to local sources.
At about 6 AM on April 3, the joint force attacked CNA Battalion 4 in Tonzang. The CNA and allied forces managed to repel the attack, inflicting casualties on ZRA troops and capturing some drones and ammunition.
While retreating, the ZRA troops reportedly burned down nearly all of Nakzang village—approximately 80 homes—except for the local church.
Displaced villagers from Nakzang are now taking refuge in nearby Tonzang town.
The CNA Battalion 4 stated that the junta and ZRA used the temporary ceasefire (intended to facilitate earthquake relief efforts) as an opportunity to launch their offensive. The CNA vowed to continue counterattacks against these allied forces.

3. Yangon Army Attacks Aung Thapyay Intelligence Camp with 40mm Grenades
April 6
In Mayangone Township, Yangon Region, the Yangon Army reported that it attacked the Aung Thapyay security outpost—known for training Pyusawhti militia—with two 40mm grenades.
The attack occurred around 11:30 PM on April 5. Due to tight security in the area, Yangon Army said the operation was carefully planned over two days of surveillance, and all resistance fighters returned safely.
The Yangon Army warned that further strikes will be carried out until the junta dictatorship is overthrown.

This same outpost was previously targeted on May 21 of last year by resistance forces using remote mines, causing injuries to junta police. The camp is notorious for being an interrogation and torture site for political detainees.
4. Junta Troop Convoy Attacked While Attempting to Loot Civilian Property in Myaing Township
April 6
In Myaing Township, Magway Region, junta troops from the Linkataw military camp were attacked by resistance fighters while attempting to loot civilian-owned property.
The ambush occurred on April 1. Two junta soldiers were confirmed killed, and several others were injured, according to Battalion 15 of Pakokku District.
Junta-aligned propaganda sources falsely claimed that the convoy was part of a humanitarian mission responding to recent earthquakes, which the resistance labeled as misinformation.
The ambush was a coordinated effort by Battalion 15, the Red Dragon Force, and the MRG unit.
