1. Two Suicide Drones Attacked Kaung Ei Village in Faikone Township, One Drone Shot Down

At 7:00 p.m. on April 3, two suicide drones launched by the military junta attacked Kaung Ei Village in Faikone Township. One of the drones was shot down by the Faikone PDF 1002 Battalion, according to reports. Despite the junta’s announcement of a ceasefire, attacks continue daily by airstrikes and suicide drones. Revolutionaries have warned not to consider the junta’s ceasefire as credible.


2. Military Attack Kills 5 Civilians in Pekingkaukhu Village

At 11:00 a.m. on April 4, the Khamyar 422 group, based in Moebye Town in Shan State, attacked Pekingkaukhu Village, located near the Karenni border, with heavy artillery. One man around 40 years old was killed due to direct hits from the artillery on his face and back, causing his house to be destroyed. Later, at around 3:00 p.m., the junta carried out airstrikes in the area, killing four more locals and injuring many others.


3. Aid and Donations for Victims of Earthquake in Sin Kuu and Matara Townships

In response to the earthquake in Sin Kuu and Matara townships, local civil defense forces (PDF), along with the People’s Defense Force (PaKaFa), provided aid to the affected families, including the families of those who lost their lives. In Sin Kuu and Matara townships, over 44 people were reported dead due to the quake, and more than 100 others were injured. Religious buildings, including pagodas, were damaged, and a total of 50 million kyats were donated for recovery efforts in these areas.


4. Aid for 45 Houses Destroyed by Earthquake in Phyu Township

In Phyu Township, Bago Region, 45 homes were destroyed due to the earthquake. The People’s Defense Force (PDF), along with the PaKaFa, provided donations for the victims. A donation of 50,000 kyats per house was given to those affected by the destruction, and the relief efforts were funded by proceeds from a lottery. Other materials donated by citizens were also distributed with the help of the PDF and local military units.


5. Financial Aid for Earthquake Victims

The Nwe Oo Pawk Kyar Battalion raised 64 million kyats to help the earthquake victims in the Lwint Lone Township. The funds were used for emergency relief efforts. The battalion expressed solidarity with the people suffering from multiple challenges, including military conflict, political instability, and natural disasters. They emphasized that they would continue fighting against the military dictatorship until its collapse.
