1. The Acting President said that the terrorist military is on the verge of complete collapse and has reached a chaotic situation
Acting President Duwa Lashi La said this at the 27th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government held on August 15.
“I want to say to all members of the government that at this time, the terrorist military is on the verge of complete collapse and has reached an uncontrollable situation due to the efforts of all of us. When this happens, we will see that the enemy is conducting more psychological warfare to weaken our revolutionary forces. They are trying to create internal division between the local PDF and the PDF to disrupt unity,” said the acting president.
The 27th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government was attended by Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers, including Acting President Duwa Lashi La, and Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann.
In addition, the Acting President said, “It is also necessary to improve the individual military capabilities of the PDF, the people’s defense forces. On the other hand, our government needs to pay special attention to obtaining sufficient arms and ammunition. The more the capacity of the people’s defense forces increases, the more protection will be given to civilians and reduce their suffering.”

In addition, the military council will use various methods and the steps need to be constantly monitored, and the NUG government should show clear processes and what should be shown to the people and try to continue marching until the revolution succeeds, the union prime minister said.
3. The NUG has appointed 126 judges for justice and accountability
Union Minister for International Cooperation Dr. Sasa stated in his addresses to “The Parliament of the World’s Religions Conference in Chicago, USA, Calling for the Defense of Freedom, Federal Democracy and Human Rights” held on August 14, that the NUG has appointed 126 judges for justice and accountability.
“Amidst this darkness, the NUG has erected more than 4,500 schools from the ashes of destructions throughout the country, established over 160 hospitals, and implemented 250 mobile clinics, trained and deployed more than 300 battalions of freedom fighters, People’s Defence Forces (PDF), who, in collaboration with our allies, currently control over half of Myanmar’s territory. Moreover, the NUG has provided more than 7.98 billion Myanmar Kyats (MMK) worth of humanitarian assistance to the people of Myanmar. Additionally, 126 judges have been appointed for justice and accountability, tens of hundreds of thousands of civil servants in Myanmar have continued their powerful nonviolent Civil Disobedient Movement (CDM) which is much more powerful than the military junta’s acts of terrorism against the entire population of Myanmar, and more than 13,000 uniformed men and women from the military junta have defected to us and joined CDM due to their unwillingness to serve their masters in committing crimes against humanity,” the Union Minister stated.
Union Minister Dr. Sasa also stated, “Remaining silent in the face of injustice is not a solution, nor is it acceptable.”
4. The Police Department of Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration held a meeting with the township people’s security forces of Sagaing and Magway Divisions
On August 15, the meeting between the Police Department of NUG Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MOHAI) and the township people’s security forces of Sagaing and Magway Divisions (32/2023) was held.
At the meeting, Associate Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration gave an opening speech.
Following, Police Chief of the Police Department greeted, and the attending members of the township people’s security forces asked and discussed regarding the security and law enforcement issues, judicial issues, and challenges encountered on the ground. The Associate Secretary, Police Chief and relevant heads discussed back briefly.
The meeting was attended by Associate Secretary, Director General from the Public Administration Department, Police Chief, senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, and leaders of the township people’s security forces of Sagaing and Magway Divisions.
5. ABSDF Battalion 12 has harvested the sesame fields planted in the Yaw area and used them as edible oil for the battalion
On August 15, ABSDF Column 3 informed that ABSDF Battalion 12 has harvested the sesame fields planted in the Yaw area and used them as edible oil for the battalion.
“ABSDF Battalion 12 has harvested the sesame fields planted in the Yaw area. There are more than 8 acres of sesame fields belonging to the battalion, which are mainly planted for oil production and will be used as edible oil for food in the battalion,” it stated.
The ABSDF Battalion 12 has been cultivating with the help of the public for food security in the battalion, and in addition to oil crops, rice plantations and other crops have also been planted.
It is said that ABSDF is helping to harvest not only their plantations but also the plantations owned by the comrades’ families.

7. Three were killed in an attack on the junta soldiers from IB-257 between Myaebyu Village and Aung Moe road junction, Yesagyo Township
On August 15, the Yesagyo PaKaFa confirmed the military news that three were killed in an attack on the junta soldiers from the IB-257 between Myaebyu village and the Aung Moe road junction, Yesagyo Township, Magway Region.
“On August 14, at around 8:00 a.m., between the Myaebyu Village and Aung Moe Road Junction, a vanguard of junta soldiers that came out of the IB-257 were attacked by the people’s comrades who were waiting ahead. 3 junta soldiers were hit by bullets and killed, and some were wounded and fled,” it stated.
The battle was jointly carried out by the People’s Defense Forces – Yesagyo Township (PaKaFa) and Pakokku District Battalion 9.
