Union Prime Minister says that there are discussions on the issue of federal democracy beyond revolution as well as requests to be armed

Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said at the meeting of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) held on 18 August,

“There is a need to connect with the conditions of public administration during the discussions with the Regional Parliament Representative Committees and State Consultative Councils, and there have been discussions on the issue of federal democracy beyond revolution period as well as the request to be armed. In the administrative sector, as the needs and capabilities of each region are different, it will be necessary to connect with the ground.”

Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) had a meeting with the Committee of Implementing the People’s Embrace Project

Department of People’s Administration, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government announced on 18 August that all the township and district administrators under the Terrorist Military Council had been dismissed.

The statement states that all the assistant directors, township administrators, deputy directors, directors, and district administrators of the General Administration Department, who participated in supporting the terrorist dictator, were dismissed without given the right to serve in the public administration process that will represent the people in the new federal democratic nation that will be implemented soon.

Minister of Human Rights says that the reason for urging the People’s Defense Forces to respect human rights is to prove that dignified forces are waging a battle for justice

Union Minister of Human Rights U Aung Myo Min said this while delivering the human rights lectures to the people’s defense force on 18 August.

“Human rights did not come about because of international regulations. International standards of human rights emerged while everyone was demanding to live in dignity. Urging revolutionary organizations to respect human rights is not because of international standards, but it is to prove that it is a battle for justice in which dignified forces are fighting.”

On 19 August, Koe Taung Bo revolutionary force reported that two civilian women were killed when the military junta troops opened fire with heavy weapons during a battle that broke out in Koe Taung Bo.

“Last night, local allied forces attacked the military junta troops stationed in Koe Taung Bo village, and it is reported that at least three soldiers were killed and  injured others. And then, the military council opened fire with heavy weapons, falling upon a house near Koe Taung Bo station and killing two women.”

Koe Taung Bo revolutionary force has warned the civilians who had returned to their homes after the last night’s battle that they should not remain in the village as the fighting may intensify again.

The terrorist military burns down houses in Kapaing village and Thee Gone village in Yin Mar Bin Township

On 19 August, local news sources confirmed that the terrorist military had burned down the houses in Kapaing village and Thee Gone village in Yin Mar Bin Township, Sagaing Division.

“Military troops have burned down houses in Kapaing village and Thee Gone village. Fortunately, people can evacuate in advance.”

It was the military troops that left Yin Paung Taing village on 18 August that came and set fire to Kapaing village and Thee Gone village.
