Announcement on illegality and non-recognition of negotiations with the State Administration Council
- The State Administration Council is a terrorist organization that seeks to usurp the sovereignty of the country from the people, the original owners.
- The State Administration Council is also an organization that will be sentenced at the International Court of Justice for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
- The State Administration Council is an illegal organization that has no legitimate authority (de jure power) vested directly from the people and has no practical authority (de facto power) to govern the country.
- The true sovereignty of the state rests with the National Unity Government, which is legally authorized by the people through free and fair elections.
- The National Unity Government has already made an announcement on the designation of the State Administration Council as a domestic terrorist organization on 7 June 2021 in accordance with the Counter-Terrorism Law of Myanmar.
- The 2015 Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) is an agreement between the Union Government and the ethnic groups. The State Administration Council, a terrorist organization, has no right to negotiate with the contracting parties, like the Union Government.
- Therefore, the National Unity Government announces that any negotiations with the State Administration Council were illegal and that such negotiations would not be recognized by the National Unity Government and any of its successor governments.

At the 56th Cabinet Meeting of the National Unity Government, Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khine Thann said, “The international non-recognition of the terrorist military council until the revolutionary period one year and three months is a victory for our revolution. We must continue to work to control this situation, and on the other hand, we need to continue to urge our National Unity Government to be recognized and to help alleviate the suffering of the people of Myanmar. In order for this to happen, correct information needs to be available internationally.”
Recently, Minister of Foreign Affairs Daw Zin Mar Aung visited Washington, DC, and met with the U.S Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sharman.

People’s Revolution Supply Family (PRF) stated, “We would like to announce that, as a memento of the 77th birthday of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, which will fall on 19 June, all the members in June will be sent an email with the special thank-you notes with a picture of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.”
State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has been detained since the military coup on 1 February 2021, and has currently been charged with several counts by the military council.
CRYH had a meeting with Township Education Board representatives from townships in Yangon of the Executive Committee of Yangon Federal School
On 31 May, the Committee Representing Yangon Hluttaw (CRYH) had a meeting with Township Education Board representatives from townships in Yangon of the Executive Committee of Yangon Federal School.
It is reported that the meeting discussed interim education issues in Yangon Division and the issues related to opening Yangon Federal School.
Yangon Federal School was opened with the aim of ensuring the continuous learning opportunities for students protesting against military slavery education, and accelerating the implementation of interim education in Yangon Division.
In addition, it is a free school that will implement a public education mechanism.
Kaung For You school started recruiting new students until it reaches 10000 students
It is reported that Kaung For You school under the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government has started recruiting new students.
The online enrollments can be done using Google form from 8 am to 7 pm on 1 and 2 June.
It is also learned that Kaung For You school is operating under the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government and will officially offer classes.
Within an hour of Kaung For You school recruiting new students, more than 100000 students applied.
It is stated that it is backed by the Myanmar Curriculum 2020 and will be taught in the Singapore Curriculum, and for mathematics, it will be taught in conjunction with Japanese Basic Education lessons.
Mandalay Federal School starts recruiting new students for the second batch
It is said, “Mandalay Federal School will start recruiting new students for the second batch within the enrollment week from 1 to 7 June.”
It is also said that, with the help of CRMH and NUG, the students and teachers are systematically organized. The school currently operates roughly 600 students and 40 teachers, teaching in accordance with federal principles.
Zoom, Email, Telegram, Signal are the basic software requirements to attend Mandalay Federal School.

Union Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government, Dr. Win Myat Aye said that NUG is working with the ethnic armed groups, revolutionary forces and civil organizations to establish short-term demilitarized zones.
Spokesperson for NUG President’s Office U Kyaw Zaw said that financial and material needs are rising as aid to war-affected people is currently being assisted only by domestic and foreign Myanmar Nationals.
In early May this year, UNOCHA announced that the number of refugees in Myanmar had increased by nearly 600000 in the year since the military coup, and a total of nearly one million Myanmar people remain displaced.
Labor activists said that the method of daily wage reduction used by some factory owners in Yangon by hiring daily workers is not in line with labor laws.
A labor activist said that, in order not to pay the minimum wage of 4800 kyats per day, excluding the overtime pay set under the NLD Government, some of the factory owners replaced the regular workers with daily workers with the daily wage at 3600 kyats per day. Some are also making wage profit by paying only 500 kyats per hour for overtime, he added.
Another labor activist said that, after the military coup, most of the factories were closed and basic workers were left unemployed. Some of the existing factories are taking advantage of this situation to reduce wages, ask to work overtime, and lay off illegally.
The military junta has issued a series of arrests and threats against the leaders of trade unions and labor activists who opposed the military coup.
The International Labor Organization (ILO) confirmed at the end of January 2022 that more than 1.6 million people had lost their jobs since the military coup.
