SRP-1 revolvers manufactured by PSPT will be mainly supplied to the Revolutionary Forces in Sagaing Division
People Soldiers’ Production Team introduced SR-1 revolvers on May 13, and said
"People Soldiers' Production Team will continue to supply SR-1 revolvers to the revolutionary forces in Sagaing Division, but if more SR-1 revolvers are to be produced, more equipment will need to be purchased and the camp area will be needed to expand to accommodate the purchased equipment."
The People Soldiers’ Production Team developed a submachine gun to accelerate the second wave of the Spring Revolution and named the gun the SR-1. The SR-1 revolver is a type of the Sub Machine Gun (SMG) and its has the main advantages of better efficiency due to the length which is twice as long as the FGC-9 printed gun; high velocity bullets; toughness due to the body made of steel; durable; easy to manufacture; and low-maintenance.
