The Acting President of the National Unity Government (NUG), Duwa Lashi La says he is very disappointed with Prime Minister Hun Sen
The Acting President Duwa Lashi La made a remark in response to the remarks by ASEAN Chair, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen to the people of Myanmar. The Acting President said "I was very disappointed by the remarks of ASEAN Chair, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen which insulting all Myanmar protesting against the military dictator's pseudo-peace, on May 12."

Prime Minister Hun Sen had visited Myanmar at the invitation of the coup leader and returned without any political outcome.

Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Rob Berschinski, Special Assistant to the President and the White House National Security Council (NSC) Senior Director for Democracy and Human Rights

In an interview with RFA in Washington DC on May 13, Foreign Minister Zin Mar Aung informed the At the meeting, Rob Berschinski said that U.S. President used the logo design that highlight the issues of Myanmar, at the U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit.

The logo design of the US-ASEAN Special Summit uses the picture of Karaweik which is one of the most popular attractions in Yangon, to highlight the situation in Myanmar. Rob Berschinski said that during the current meeting, although Myanmar’s seat has been left vacant, Myanmar’s issues will continue to be a priority for the U.S. Government.

Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung also discussed about military discipline, including terrorism and ground conditions; and Political developments, including local governance.

NUG and Chin National Advisory Council will jointly sell Special Treasury Bonds

On 13 May, the Interim Chin National Consultative Council issued a statement.

The statement said “The Interim Chin National Consultative Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment (NUG), is preparing to start selling the Spring Revolution Special Treasury Bonds for the Chin region.”

The Chin Relief Funding Program (CRFP) has been assigned as the Work Team for the sale of Special Treasury Bonds, according to the Interim Chin National Consultative Council.

So far, more than 30,000 Special Treasury Bonds have been sold, earning 33 million USD.

Blood Money Campaign and MilkTeaAlliance “Friends of Myanmar” have called on Biden’s government to impose sanctions on Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) without delay

According to the statement on May 13 , the Blood Money Campaign and MilkTeaAlliance “Friends of Myanmar” have joined forces to urge the Biden’s government to impose sanctions on the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) without delay.

They are campaigning to cut out Blood Money since the military council was about to get another 250 million USD from Total Energy in six months.

The Global Week of Action of Blood Money Campaign is May 7-14.

Mother Umbrella Campaign and Revolutionary Dialogue with Actress Chit Thu Wai will be held

Mother Umbrella Campaign and the Revolutionary Dialogue will be held on May 15. Participants will include Dr. Phyo Thiha, Actress Chit Thu Wai and Influencer Ma Pencilo.

The Dialogue will be broadcast live on the Facebook pages of PVTV, OFP, Mother Umbrella, D-Day Channel, Myanmar Global Support Foundation – MGSF.
