As Myitkyina University Interim Online Education Short Course Program, Human Rights Training and Digital Security Training will be conducted as online Short Course by Myitkyina University Students’ Union. Students from various universities / colleges / training schools in Kachin State can apply for the two courses.

April 30, 10:30 a.m , Fifteen Burmese soldiers were killed and about 20 were lost their limbs who coming from Pyin Lay Pin village to Khauk Myat Na village in Katha Township attacked by a group of Katha PDF. One PDF comrade was slightly injured when he was hit by his weapon.

After the coup in Sagaing Division, the military council has been trying to take control of the Sagaing Division since May 2021. Sagaing Division is one of the worst affected areas by the military council and Women and children have been victims of the war, a local said.
PDFs have been banned from passing through the Chaung-Oo-Monywa road in Sagaing Division and the Tangse-Junction-Ye Oo road in upper Burma since April 29. PDFs were difficult to attack because Military Soldiers often intercepted in peoples’ car, passenger cars and trucks . Hence Roads were temporarily closed , a local said.

The PDFs are an attempt to block military junta routes. Locals say the military council has been using heavy force to attack PDF camps on the Monywa-Mandalay-Myinmu road and the Monywa-Ah Myint road.
