14 Inya Road Residence has been sold for up to 6 million
The End of Dictatorship issued an announcement on the evening of 26 May and the announcement said, “In the third week of the sale of Inya Road Resident No.14 illegally acquired by dictator Min Aung Hlaing, it has been sold for up to 6 million USD. As Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing said at the press conference, these funds are being used directly in the most important areas that you all know and so these are the most important funds for the revolution.”
To date, the 14/ Inya Road Residence has a total of around 9,000 buyers, with more than 200 people buying for 10,000 USD and above, with the largest buyer buying 2,000 shares.
The National Unity Government had set a budget of 10 million USD for the Terrorist Ministry Leader Min Aung Hlaing’s 14/ Inya Road Residence, and it sold for 100 USD per share.
National Unity Government Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe met with the UK Foreign Minister for Asia and the Middle East
Prof. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister for Health and the Union Minister for Education, National Unity Government met The Rt Hon Amanda Milling, the Foreign Minister for Asia and the Middle East of the United Kingdom (UK) and Member of Parliament in London on 25 May at the Office of the Ministry of Commonwealth and Development.
During the meeting, the current revolutionary issues in Myanmar, humanitarian assistance to Myanmar and the issues the two countries will work together on for Myanmar’s return to the path of peace and democracy were discussed.
After that, the two ministers held cordial talks and Union Minister Prof Dr Zaw Wai Soe thanked the UK for its assistance to Myanmar.
Interim Education Webinar with Dr. Thein Lwin, Principle of the Spring Teachers Training University (STTU) successfully concluded
Basic Education General Strike Committee (BEGSC), Interim Education Network issued an announcement that the Interim Education Webinar with Dr. Thein Lwin on 26 May was successfully conducted.
It said, “Interim education programs are being carried out across the country to ensure the continuity of children’s education during the revolution, to implement public education, boycotting of military slavery education.
The webinar was attended by 200 participants form education boards implementing interim education in various regions, Interim schools, Federal schools, regional groups, teachers’ unions.
At the webinar, Dr. Thein Lwin discussed the public education and interim education programs, and exchanged views with the participants.
The webinar discussed coverage of schools implementing interim education, freedom of education, curriculum and teaching methods, federal democracy education, education in ethnic areas, subject matter, mother tongue-based education, and assessment and evaluation.
Myaing Township PDF provided 50,000 kyat per household to 84 households from houses burned by military council troops
On 27 May, Myaing Township PDF announced, “On 25 May during the uprising, Myaing Township People’s Defense Force provided 50,000 kyat per household to 84 households from houses burned by military council troops.”
In addition, Myaing Township People’s Defense Force said that the military council that set fire to innocent people’s houses must pay for their crimes.
Monywa Township Public Administration announced the tax collection from 1 June
The Monywa Township Public Administration announced on 27 May that it would collect taxes from local business people starting from 1 June, according to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s Union Taxation Law.
The announcement said that the National Unity Government (NUG) had already announced that taxes from business people will be collected according to the Union Taxation Law 2021, the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law 6/2021, enacted on 20 September 2021.
Therefore, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Unity Government, taxes from the local business people would be collected starting from 1 June, said Monywa Township Public Administration.
It is learned that the taxes collected will be used effectively in accordance with the policy guidelines set by NUG.
24 staff and informants of the Terrorist Military Council were granted amnesty under the instruction of Karenni State Consultative Council (KSCC)
KNDF B03 said, “”The informants and EPC staff, a total of 24, of the Terrorist Military Council were granted amnesty by the Karenni State Police (KSP) and the KNDF, under the instruction of Karenni State Consultative Council (KSCC) on 2 May.”
The people’s defense forces adheres to the International Civil-Military Guidelines.

An official in charge of Kani said that it is the monsoon peanut season, but farmers are unable to turn to agriculture because of the destruction of planting seeds, lack of budget for fertilizer and pesticides, and because they have to flee all the time.
A villager said that the agricultural machinery and even cattle were destroyed in Nat Gyi village in Kani Township, where the army raided and set fire for the second time on 19 May, leaving no food left for next year.
The military raided 11 villages in Kani Township this May, forcing thousands of locals to flee.
Since the military coup, around 10,000 houses have been burnt down in Sagaing Division, leaving people homeless and struggling.
An official from the Yaw Defense Force (YDF) in Magway Division said that they expect more weapons from NUG
The leader of the Yaw Defense Force (YDF) said that some weapons had been received now, although, in the early days of the revolution, there was no support from the National Unity Government (NUG) and the interconnection was weak.
He said that the YDF will move forward in line with international military guidelines and the NUG Defense Ministry’s policy, and expects more arms support from the NUG.
Khin-U information officer said that the YDF People’s Army (YDF), which has control over Htee Lin, Saw, Kyaukhtu and Gangaw townships in Magway Division to a certain extent, held an anniversary ceremony on May 26.
He added that in order to reduce the violence by the military with excessive force in Sagaing Division, the NUG needs to arm local PDFs.
In the northwestern military region, there were a series of clashes between PDF and the military council, and there were also some disagreements among PDFs due to the complicated ground situation caused by Pyu Saw Htee and Dalan (military informants).
