At the (5/2022) meeting of the National Administrative Board of Natural Resources (NAB-NR) held on September 9, the Union Prime Minister, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, said, “In dealing with natural resource issues, the safest methods for the public, the most beneficial methods for the people and the government should be chosen; and by working together in unity and cooperation with all relevant sectors, we will be able to see that our work is faster and that we can contribute more than ever to the success of the revolution, which is the goal of all of us.”
In addition, the Union Prime Minister also said that properly managing natural resources by uniting the Union Government ministries, interim township people’s administration organizations, township natural resource organizations, and other relevant organizations, and using collective leadership and collective effort methods, will not only be able to develop less centralized, people-centered natural resource management practices but also can implement federal resource policy that will be implemented in the future.

In September, Daw Zin Mar Aung, the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government, met with Czech dignitaries including H.E. Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament, and Senator Pavel Fisher, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security.
The Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung also addressed the unspeakable and escalating atrocities of the terrorist junta against civilians, as well as the junta’s weaponization of humanitarian aid and its forced displacement of close to one million people.
The Union Minister of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by U Aung Myo Min, the Union Minister of Human Rights, and U Linn Thant, the Representative of the National Unity Government in the Czech Republic.
The Defense Minister says that at least one hundred million US dollars is needed to equip twenty thousand automatic rifles in the next four months
During an interview with a news agency in September, U Yee Mon, the Union Minister of Defense, said this.
“We need to get at least 100 million US dollars in the next four months. If we get this fund, we will try to equip another 20,000 automatic rifles,” said the Union Minister, U Yee Mon.
In addition, the Minister also said that long-range assault weapons will also have to be equipped and that the defense fund requirement for 2023 is between 200 million and 300 million US dollars.

The Secretary of the National Administrative Board of Natural Resources presented the completion of the meeting (4/2022) resolution and the previous work. The Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing says that the Spring Mandalay Investment project will start soon

Myitkyina No. 2 Police Station was attacked by Myitkyina PDF last night
The People’s Defense Force (Myitkyina) confirmed that they attacked the No.2 Police Station on Myitkyina at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
They said, “Our People’s Defense Force (Myitkyina) attacked the No.2 Police Station this evening at 7:00 p.m.”
The military council’s police were injured and deaths are yet to be confirmed.
The comrades of the defense force were able to retreat successfully without any harm.
Three soldiers were killed in the battle near Maelaykung Village, Mindat, Chin State
The News and Information Department of the Chin Defense Force – Mindat (CDF-Mindat) said that starting from the morning of September 9, the fighting broke out between the military council troops and CDF-Mindat.
It states, “The clash encountered between the military council troops and CDF-Mindat near Maelaykung Village. The Kyaukhtu Artillery Regiment fired the artillery shells to assist the military troops and it has already fired four times.”
According to the CDF-Mindat, the battle near Maelaykung Village resulted in the deaths of three soldiers of the military council, and there was a possibility of many injuries on the military council side.
