“Now there are 330 PDF battalions. At least 200 personnel are in each battalion, and some have more than 500 because they were formed earlier. There are at least 60,000 and 70,000 personnel who are registered with the ministry. In addition, the alliances have now increased, so we will have to expand the military region,” the Union Minister of Defence, U Yee Mon, said.

Currently, military operations are conducted in three military sub-regions.

It is also said that the region to be expanded will be officially notified after negotiations with the allies are completed.

Ja Htoi Pan, Deputy Minister of Education, also said, “The sample questions are available now. Grade 11 students who will take the exam should start their studies.”

It is also reported that further announcements will be made with demonstration videos on how to use the online examination system, and offline methods for those students from areas where there are no internet connections.

It is said that, in addition to announcements on the website, official pages, and channels of the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government, all the information regarding the Basic Education Completion Assessment examination will be sent to the interim basic education organizations in a timely manner.

At least 10 soldiers were killed when Mobye PDF and allies attacked the terrorist military council column that marched with a force of around 100 soldiers to Mobye

On September 9, the Mobye People Defense Force (Mobye PDF) released the battle report.

It states, “On the morning of September 8, at 8:45 a.m., the terrorist military council column that marched from Warisuplai Village to Mobye with a force of around 100 soldiers was attacked by Mobye PDF, Pekon PDF, Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF), Karenni Army (KA), URF, Nay Pyi Taw PDF, and Karenni Generation Z (KGZ).”

The battle lasted the whole day from 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at least 10 soldiers of the terrorist military were eliminated by the allied forces, and at least 12 were injured.

Three members of the allied forces received minor injuries and were properly treated.

Two MA-1 rifles, three MA-2 rifles, four MA-4 rifles, a MA-15 machine gun (a clone of the MG-3 and commonly known as the Carp fish tail gun), twenty-three box magazines, twelve HG-79 hand grenades, five other hand grenades, two anti-personal mines, thirty-three 60mm grenades, ten RPG grenades, 326 bullets of the MA-15 machine gun, 2080 bullets of the M-16 rifle, four mobile phones, a keypad mobile phone, a tablet, and 67,000 kyats of cash were seized.

According to the Mobye People Defense Force (Mobye PDF), the allied forces and the terrorist military council’s forces continued to fire on each other on September 9.
