Acting President Duwa Lashi La said at the 23rd cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government held on July 11 that the scheme to eradicate the military dictatorship during the Spring Revolution mustn’t be undermined.
“The scheme to eradicate the military dictatorship during the Spring Revolution mustn’t be undermined. Therefore, it is especially necessary for all sectors to be strengthened from all sides. It is also necessary to collect funds in a unified manner rather than scattering here and there. As the flow of funds widens, there may be weaknesses in the construction of the COC during the resistance war. Therefore, the financial management needs to benefit indirectly so that the chain of command from the center can be more consolidated and strong. The people’s defense forces at the bottom will also have to try and build stronger trust in the government,” the Acting President said.
In addition, the Acting President said that the National Unity Government is focusing on the purchase of weapons and ammunition and the expenses of members of the people defense forces, such as food and medicine.

The military council troops fired heavy weapons near Laiza and started attacking since early July, clashing with the KIA troops and the military council troops are suffering a great casualties.

They planted ironwood trees. The scenery is also beautiful, and they planted many along the road. The campaign target has not yet been met. They only got 60 million kyats. They prepared 2,000 trees to plant. You can buy trees and support them. One tree is only 10,000 Myanmar kyats,” said the Deputy Minister.
Although the goal of the campaign is to plant 20,000 trees, only over 5,000 have been planted by the public. In addition, people can participate for ten thousand kyat per tree.
The funds received will be provided to the revolutionary forces and refugees.
4. The Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) held a meeting with the township people’s administrative bodies of Yangon Division
On July 11, the meeting between the NUG’s Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Yangon Division (13/2023) was held.
At the meeting, Permanent Secretary of the Union Prime Minister Office, a secretary member of ILACC, gave an opening speech.
Following, officials from ministries explained the activities of relevant ministries, and then members of the township people’s administrative bodies exchanged views with relevant officials regarding policies, directions, activities, and challenges encountered on the ground.
The meeting was attended by Permanent Secretaries, Associate Secretaries, and officials from ministries, and members of the township people’s administrative bodies of Yangon Division.
5. Up to 158 people have been sentenced to death during the Spring Revolution
AAPP (Assistance Association for Political Prisoners) reported that there have been 158 people who were sentenced to death during the Spring Revolution, regarding the current situation after the military coup on July 11.
“There are a total of (115) post-coup death row prisoners as of July 11, 2023. (122) people have been sentenced in absentia, of whom (43) have been sentenced to death. This makes a total of (158) people who have been sentenced to death,” it stated.
From the coup in 2021 until July 11, 2023, a total of (23,792) people were arrested and among them, (19,417) are currently under detention, (6,729) of whom are serving sentences.
6. The checkpoint of the terrorist military council on the bridge over the Sittaung River in Yedashe Township was fired with snipers, injuring 3 members of the military council
Three members of the military council were injured when the checkpoint of the terrorist military council on the bridge over the Sittaung River in Yedashe Township, was fired with snipers.
On July 11, the military news was confirmed by Yedashe PaKaFa.
“On July 10 at 7:30 a.m., revolutionary forces fired with snipers at the checkpoint of the about 50-strong terrorist military council troops on the bridge over the Sittaung River, southeast of Kywe Yaing Pyin Village, Kywe Yaing Pyin Village Tract, Yedashe Township, Taungoo District, Bago Division,” it stated.
The military council soldiers continued to fire with large and small arms until 3:00 p.m., and as a result of this indiscriminate shooting, one public house in Taungtha village and other public houses (under investigation) were also hit.
The operation was carried out by the joint column of Squadron 4 and Squadron 6 of People’s Defense Force Taungoo District Battalion 3501, and Yedashe PaKaFa. 3 were injured on the side of the terrorist military council.
7. Junta’s Recruitment Unit 10 (Sa.Kha.Ta 10) based in Ayadaw was attacked with 107-mm heavy artillery
Danger Force LPDF informed military news on July 10 that the junta’s Recruitment Unit 10 (Sa.Kha.Ta 10) based in Ayadaw was attacked with 107-mm heavy artillery.
“On July 9, at around 4:30 p.m., under the supervision of the commander of No. 1 Military Region, Monywa District, we attacked the junta’s Recruitment Unit 10 (Sa.Kha.Ta 10) based in Ayadaw (locally known as the Ashae Tat), with 107-mm heavy artillery which fell besides the trench tent, causing many casualties,” they stated.
After that, the military council troops fired back with heavy weapons and small arms, but the revolutionary forces were able to retreat without being harmed.
The operation was carried out jointly by Danger Force LPDF and Monywa District Battalion 6.

“On July 9, two columns of junta troops and Pyu members invaded Peikayar and Inn villages in Mingin Township by firing heavy artillery shells randomly, destroyed public houses, and stole what they wanted,” it stated.
A house belonging to a civilian in Peikayar Village was damaged by a heavy artillery shell; 8 mobile phones were stolen from Inn Village; and a motorcycle, a solar panel, and a water pump were destroyed.
In addition, they shot at a cow, a buffalo, and a pig, and stole a gold chain, a ring, 2 pairs of earrings and more than 20 lakhs in cash.
