2. . Most of the revolutionary forces are under NUG’s Chain of Command

Most of the revolutionary forces are under NUG’s Chain of Command, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said in the “People to People Program”.

“There are armed revolutions everywhere. NUG has to organize them. Actually, I don’t see it as a problem. Because our objective is to eliminate this military coup. We are all the same here. I don’t think we are divided. I don’t think any group is divided. Only the names of the groups may be different. It was stated 3–4 months ago that 80–85 percent of the groups are under Chain of Command. So some of them are left. Some are still joining hands with NUG. I see that we have already achieved consolidation above 80, 85 percent,” said the Union Minister.

Currently, more than 300 units of the People’s Defense Forces and more than 250 township PaKaFa groups have been formed, and the NUG Ministry of Defence is providing them with weapons and opening refresher courses.

“In this revolution, I see that there is unity with the groups on the ground. But actually, when we transform from defensive to offensive, we need to build more coordination and strengthen Chain of Command. Because in war, there needs to be only one Command. There cannot be two. Therefore, I see the need to strengthen connections,” said Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe.
