1. Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than urges for the rapid provision of necessary shelter, medicine, and food for people displaced by heavy rains, flooding, and airstrikes.
The Prime Minister made the statement during a meeting of the Central Committee for Interim Public Administration held on September 12.
“In addition to the flooding caused by heavy rains in some central areas due to the storm, our people are being displaced by cruel airstrikes. It is crucial that we ensure they receive the necessary shelter, medicine, and food as quickly as possible,” said the Prime Minister.
During the meeting, members of the Central Committee for Interim Public Administration discussed the decisions made under (33/2024), the current status of the ongoing tasks, and the remaining work that needs to be carried out. The attendees held an extensive discussion on these matters.
The meeting was led by Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than and was attended by union ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, associate secretaries, and responsible officials from various departments.
2. Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the National Unity Government (NUG) and the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF)

According to reports, the National Unity Government (NUG) and the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
On September 12, the NUG issued an official announcement confirming the signing of the MoU between the NUG and the ABSDF.
The MoU was signed with the aim of building a strong relationship based on mutual understanding and mutual recognition of political integrity between the two organizations. It aims to jointly fight for the eradication of military dictatorship and to collaborate on the future establishment of a Federal Democratic Union.
The MoU also includes plans for cooperation in political, public mobilization, military, and financial sectors between the NUG and ABSDF.
The signing ceremony was attended by NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La, Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than, Defense Minister U Yee Mon, and Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration U Lwin Ko Latt. ABSDF leaders attending the ceremony included Chairman Ye Baw Than Khe, Vice Chairman Ye Baw La Saing, General Secretary Ye Baw Sunny, Deputy General Secretaries 1 and 2 Ye Baw Kyaw Lin and Ye Baw Ye Htut (aka Hla Htay), as well as central committee members and leaders from different regions.

4. NUG Provides Emergency Food Supplies for Flood and Conflict Displaced Citizens

The NUG’s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management provided emergency food supplies to displaced citizens affected by both floods and conflicts.
The ministry announced on September 12 that food supplies were being distributed through donations and local contributions to support flood-affected regions across the country.

8. Over 1,000 Men and Women Killed Due to Military Terror, Including Verified Names
September 12, 2024:
Reports confirmed that over 1,000 men and women have been killed due to military violence across the country. Data from the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) revealed that between January 1, 2024, and September 12, 2024, a total of 1,362 individuals lost their lives, including 451 women and 911 men.
The report highlighted the devastating impact of airstrikes and artillery attacks in Rakhine State, with 108 deaths from airstrikes and 99 from artillery shelling.
