7. Mandalay PDF urges the allied revolutionary forces to work in balanced cooperation with each other without losing military awareness and caution
“On July 17, 2024, the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) successfully gained control of Sankou Township. Following this, on July 20, the military council initiated a counter-offensive against the town of Singu, deploying approximately five warships along the river. In response, we launched an attack that inflicted damage on the enemy, causing them to retreat to the opposite bank.
As the Mandalay PDF prepares to secure Singu Township against potential counter-attacks from the military council, this period is particularly complex. We urge allied revolutionary forces to collaborate in a measured and coordinated manner.
Moreover, given that the military council is brazenly committing war crimes by targeting civilians with aerial bombardments and heavy artillery, it is imperative that the armed revolutionary forces avoid actions that could further burden the public. While conducting operations in Singu Township, we strongly encourage allied revolutionary forces to adhere to ethical standards that must be upheld during this critical time,” PDF MDY stated.
