Bo Swam from Dar Ma Sai Army (D.M.S.A) (Yinmarbin District Battalion – 28) informed that Defence Minister U Yee Mon met with the leader of the Dar Ma Sai Army (D.M.S.A) based in Sagaing Division. He said, “We’re still trying as much as we can, Minister.”

Currently, those villages are peaceful since there are guard posts free from the military council. Since they are the People’s Army, they have told village elders and Sayardaw that except for the security and military sector, they will not take part in civilian laws, or the administration, but only want a democratic path.

It is reported that Yangon Federal Army (Y.F.A) and God Of Death Army (G.O.D), which have been fighting since the start of the revolution against the military dictatorship, have joined forces to form the Rangoon UG Column (RUC).

The two urban guerrilla forces have completed the Special Commando Batch-1 Training, and since the completion of the Batch-2 course, they have been transformed into the Rangoon UG Column (RUC).

Rangoon UG Column (RUC) is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious column formed specifically for the capture battles in Yangon. In addition, it is also a column that will fight together with any revolutionary organizations that share the common goal of establishing a federal union and eradicating military dictatorship.

The Batch-3 Training of the R.U.C column will resume soon, and it has been announced that people above 18 years old in good health, who can serve until the end of the revolution, can follow the rules established by the column, and can be loyal and respectful to the country and the revolution are being recruited.

Buffalo Soldiers Freedom Force announced that the graduation ceremony for Batch-2 Urban Guerrilla Special Operations Training was held on May 20.

Leader Bo Kywe Gyi of the Buffalo Soldiers Freedom Force, Sagaing Federal Council member Depayin Sayadaw, Boe Daw Ni, Buffalo Soldiers Freedom Force Supervisor Doh Ko Yee, Treasurer Amora, and Training leader Htut Khaung gave speeches to the comrades.

People’s Defense Force – South Monywa announced that at 8:30 a.m. on May 21, a junta Jammer vehicle that came out of the Nat Yay Kan gate camp in Chaung U Township towards Chaung U was detonated with 3 cluster mines between Chaung U and Nagar Shin Village.

The Pa’O National Liberation Army (PNLA) has announced that in the Pa’O region, including Hsihseng Township and Pin Laung Township, the military council and the militias under it are raiding and destroying the villages on a daily basis and hence, the clashes break out every day.

On May 2, the head of Naung Bo Kan Taw Lay Village, Pyar Khun Shaw, was arrested by the military council and the militia under it, and he has not been released to this day. On May 6, 9 local residents of Tibua (Yephyu) Village, including a pregnant woman, were arrested and have not been released until now. On May 9, they arrested and killed the village elder of Naung Yin Village, Khun Zar Khun, and his younger brother, Khun Palon. During the three days of May 15, 16, and 17, they torched the houses of the local residents of Tibua (Yephyu) Village, Hsihseng Township, destroying at least 24 houses by fire.

In addition, on May 16 and 17, they fired over 100 heavy artillery shells on Naung Kyaw Village and Kaung Wein Gyi Village, Hsihseng Township, destroying at least 10 houses in Naung Kyaw Village and at least 8 houses in Kaung Wein Gyi Village.

Till now, they are stationed in Tibua Village and are stealing and eating the people’s cattle. They also steal civilians’ cars, motorcycles, goods, properties, and assets wherever they reach.

In May, due to the military council’s invasion, more than 13,400 people from more than 20 villages such as Kaung Wein Gyi, Naung Kyaw, Naung Yin, Ye Phyu, and Kan Taw Lay in Hsihseng Township fled.

In May, there were 17 clashes broke out between the Pa’O National Liberation Army (PNLA) and the military council, and it was reported that at least 30 soldiers from the military council and the militia were killed during the fighting.

It is reported that the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and joint forces attacked and captured Fu Che Mu military camp, which was jointly deployed by 3 military council battalions in Kyaikdon, Kawkareik Township, Karen State, capturing 41 military council soldiers alive.

On May 17 and 18, KNLA and joint forces attacked the Fu Che Mu military camp, where about 100 troops from the Military Council’s 3 Infantry Battalion (LIB-558, LIB-561, and IB-993) were stationed near Pai Khlam Village near the Thai-Myanmar border. In the camp capture battle, 39 military council soldiers fled towards the Thai border and they killed 4 civilians, including a pregnant woman they met on the road, said a PDF comrade. He said these fled junta soldiers are being chased by the KNLA joint forces.

Last March 14, the KNLA joint forces were able to completely capture the Kyaikdon strategic hill based in Kyondoe, and 66 junta soldiers, including the strategy commander, Colonel Aung Kyaw Soe, and 12 senior officers, surrendered. After that, the last remaining Fu Che Mu military camp in Kyaikdon was sieged on March 14 and was finally captured on May 17.
