The National Unity Government Commissioner and senior officers, local ward/village PaAFa, and 70 trainees attended the opening ceremony of the Basic Investigation Course.
The Commissioner from the National Unity Government, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, gave the first opening speech.
After that, the instructor – Superintendent Sun Ye, the Township PaAFa Financial in Charge, and the Township People’s Security Force in Charge U Inta gave speeches.
The Commissioner and Superintendent gave 70 trainees books, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and a bag to put documents in to use in the basic investigation training.
After that, People’s Security Force Vice-in-Charge Bo Tay Za of Khin-U Township gave Khin-U Township’s east side PaLaFa in Charge and Khin-U Township’s south side PaLaFa in Charge each guns owned by the force purchased from tax (10%) revenue to carry out their public security duties.

4. There have already been about one trillion kyat in transactions with NUG Pay
NUG Pay announced on January 19 that the amount of money transactions using NUG Pay of the National Unity Government will be reaching one trillion (one thousand billion) kyat. According to NUG Pay, this is the people’s financial circulation that is beyond the reach of the terrorist military council, and it is also the payment system of the National Unity Government (NUG).

On January 20, the Depayin Township Brotherhood Group confirmed that 10 residents among those abducted by the junta troops from Mae Oh Village, Depayin Township, were missing.
“In the raid of terrorist junta troops on January 18, out of the 15 people who were abducted from Mae Oh Village, Depayin Township, the dead bodies of 5 victims were found, and 10 people were reported to be missing,” it stated.
On January 18, the terrorist junta troops that arrived in Depayin raided Mae Oh Village with a large force (in civilian clothes) while the people were sleeping, and abducted about 50 people. They also looted valuables (gold, money, and phones) from the people, released some of the arrested people, abducted about 15 people as hostages, and went into Let Yet Kone Village.
