Myanmar Spring Revolution Morning Fresh News for 2023 December 20

1. The Acting President said that the victory of the ethnic revolution is the same as the victory of the Spring Revolution

The National Unity Government’s (NUG) Acting President Duwa Lashi La said that ethnic revolution victories are the same as Spring Revolution victories.

At the 39th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government held on the morning of December 19, the Acting President made this statement.

“The current domestic situation is a time when the victories of the resistance war and the victories of the ethnic revolution are taking place wave after wave. Therefore, the scope of the war is getting wider and deeper. We cannot forget that the main goal of the war of resistance is to protect our people.

Therefore, the victory of the war of resistance and revolution must be achieved step by step, and we cannot focus on the war and ignore the people.

Not only must the government but also the public administration organizations and public defense organizations that are in direct contact on the ground follow this,” the Acting President said.

In regards to the military operations of the 3 Northern Alliances increasing and gaining victories, NUG Acting President also said, “It is important to understand and accept that the victories of the ethnic revolution are the same as the victory of the Spring Revolution. It is necessary to surround the ethnic alliance groups from various sectors in various ways.”

With the development of the military situation, the National Unity Government Acting President Duwa Lashi La said that it is important to properly implement the revolutionary policy and administrative procedures established by the National Unity Government, and that protecting the public is the central goal in managing public affairs.

2. The Union Prime Minister said that Christmas and New Year will bring good things to Myanmar

The National Unity Government’s Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann expressed his optimism that Myanmar will witness positive outcomes during the upcoming Christmas and New Year period.

The National Unity Government’s Union Prime Minister, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, said that he believes that the coming Christmas and New Year period will bring good things to Myanmar.

The Union Prime Minister said this at the 39th meeting of the National Unity Government held on the morning of December 19.

Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said, “This Christmas time is a time when families reunite peacefully and have fun together all over the world. At this time, I am deeply heartbroken by the fact that the people of our country are those who are far away from their families, those who have no home to go back to, and those who are no longer able to enjoy peace.

In any case, I also believe that this Christmas and New Year season will bring good things to Myanmar. I would like to thank all the revolutionary forces and members of the government who are working tirelessly, even though it is Christmas time.

After Operation 1027, the international community is monitoring the state of the National Unity Government’s ability to build an administrative system, so the ability to properly manage is important for the revolution, and the part that is building the administrative system needs to be strengthened and managed.

It is not easy for the Union Government to intervene and solve the problems and activities of each township, but they have to take time before establishing the administrative system at the regional level.

Karenni now has an Interim Executive Council (IEC), so it is very convenient to connect and manage between the Union Government and the Federal/State Units Cooperation Commission (FSCC). Later, if the administrations at the regional level can be established, the processing will be smoother.”

“In addition, all the revolutionary forces, including the National Unity Government, should meet and discuss political arrangements and work hard to convey the good results and current working conditions to the international community in a timely manner,” urged the National Unity Government’s Union Prime Minister, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann.
