1. According to the air strikes, the Union Prime Minister warned to be careful of the junta informants in the villages
National Unity Government’s Interim Local Administration Central Committee Meeting No. (50/2023) was held on December 14, and Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, chairman of the committee, attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech.
“During these days, we are hearing reports that the terrorist military council has been using air attacks quite a lot. On December 12, an airstrike tragically struck the PaAFa Court in Pale Township’s Min Taing Pin Village, resulting in the loss of five lives, including the judicial officer. Furthermore, on December 13, Nyaung Pin Thar Village in Phyu Township was bombed, and heavy weaponry was fired, leading to multiple casualties. In the case of Min Taing Pin, air strikes were carried out at specific locations, so we are sure that there are junta informants in the villages. In light of this, we strongly encourage to remain vigilant while carrying out administrative and judicial duties,” the Union Prime Minister said.
In addition, the Union Prime Minister reiterated that only if the Spring Revolution ends quickly and successfully will the sufferings of the people be put to an end.
Following, attending members of the ILACC explained the completion status of the activities discussed at the meeting (49/2023), future plans and processes that needed to proceed, and the relevant officials discussed them extensively.
Led by Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, and officials from ministries attended the meeting.
2. Union Minister Dr. Sasa virtually attended the Burma Hearing in the UK Parliament
The Kachin National Organization (KNO) reported on December 14 that Union Minister Dr. Sasa virtually attended the Burma hearing held at the UK Parliament.
“Kai Htang Lashi, the Foreign Affairs Spokesperson of the Kachin National Organization (KNO), took part in a Burma Hearing in the UK Parliament, by the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, together with other fellow activists from Burma,” it stated.
Britain is standing as a partner in Myanmar’s return to the path of democracy.
3. Every human right included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is being violated
NUG Union Minister for Human Rights U Aung Myo Min informed that the military council is violating all human rights included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
On December 14, the Ministry of Human Rights published an excerpt of the Union Minister’s speech.
“In Myanmar, the citizens are experiencing a life marred by the violation of all human rights that are outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which encompass principles of equality, respect for every individual’s rights, and the inherent nature of human rights, etc.,” said the minister.
The terrorist military junta killed over 4,000 people and arrested more than 20,000 people.
4. A total of 5 non-CDM employees defected after Myaung People’s Administrative Body issued an order for non-CDM employees to enter the legal fold
On December 14, Myaung People’s Administrative Body announced that a total of 5 non-CDM employees had defected after they issued an order for non-CDM employees to enter the legal fold.
Myaung People’s Administrative Body, Sagaing District, Sagaing Division, issued an order on November 25 to warn non-CDM employees who are serving under the terrorist military council to enter the legal folds by January 5, 2024, and properly formed the Non-CDM Employees Management Committee.
On December 14, the township people’s administrative body, the township education officer, the township non-CDM staff management committee, and the office teams received the report of 2 non-CDM employees of the prison department and 3 education staff working under the terrorist military council and managed accordingly.
It will be managed in accordance with the civil servant CDM policy issued by the National Unity Consultative Council on January 20, 2023, and will be conducted in accordance with human rights.

The list of fundraisers that the United States can contribute to the “Federal Net” fundraising campaign is officially listed on the Federal Net’s social network page.
Currently, only 6 percent of the $250,000 required by the “Federal Net Campaign” has been raised. 250,000 US dollars will be needed for the initial installation of the Federal Net Campaign in 5 townships.
The National Unity Government’s Ministry of Communications, Information and Technology is working on a “Federal Net Campaign” with the aim of expanding internet installation in 5 townships. The campaign can be supported through international fundraisers as well as the ministry’s social media link.
6. The No. 12 Police Battalion of Sittwe, Rakhine State, fired Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MRLS) towards Pauktaw
On December 14, the Arakan Army (AA) confirmed that Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MRLS) were fired at around 8:00 p.m.
“Starting at about 8:00 p.m. on December 14, the No. 12 Police Battalion in Sittwe, Rakhine State, which is a base of the military council, fired Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MRLS) towards Pauktaw Town,” it stated.
The damage is currently under investigation.
Since November 16, fighting has been going on in the town of Pauktaw, and the military council’s troops have been holding the locals as hostages.
7. TNLA seized the military council’s tea leave factory in Namhsan Township
TNLA seized the tea leave factory of the military council in Namhsan Township, Shan State, at around 5:40 p.m. on December 13.
“On December 13, 2023, at about 5:40 p.m., the Ta’ang Army (TNLA) completely captured the Military Council’s “Tea Leave Factory Camp” in Namhsan Township, Brigade (2) Military Region, Ta’ang State.
During the battle, the military council’s Y12 aircraft fired 11 times with heavy weapons,” it stated.
On the 48th day of the operation, the Ta’ang Army (TNLA) attacked the Military Council’s “Nam Hpat Kar Camp” in Kutkai Township without stopping for a single day.
8. A battle between the military council troops and the Ta’ang Army broke out on Man Khai Ward and Phayargyi Hill in Namhsan
On the night of December 14, TNLA informed about the 1027 operation.
“On December 13, military council troops and the Ta’ang Army PSLF/TNLA clashed on Man Khai Ward and Phayargyi Hill, Namhsan, Bridge 2 Military Area. TNLA was able to seize 7 weapons and ammunition from the military council,” it stated.
It is reported that the military council’s IB-130 Camp in Manton fired heavy artillery 9 times towards Namhsan Township, Bridge 2 Military Area.
Similarly, at 3:30 a.m. on December 14, a battle broke out between the military council troops from 105 Mile Camp and the Brotherhood Alliances of MNDAA/AA/TNLA in Muse Township, Brigade 1 Military Area.
9. In Namhkam city, the military council aerial bombarded Zeyar Thukha Monastery, where more than 200 refugees were sheltering
PSLF/TNLA announced on December 14 that the military council bombed Zeyar Thukha Monastery, where more than 200 refugees were sheltering in Namhkam, injuring a young novice and damaging several monastery buildings.
It is said that on December 13, at 4:50 p.m., a military council’s jet fighter bombarded Zeyar Thukha Monastery where more than 260 IDPs were sheltering in Pauk Yeik Ma Ward, Namhkam Township, Brigade (1) Military Area, Ta’ang State.
There were 262 people fleeing the war from Namhkam Township in Zeyar Thukha Monastery, and due to such an aerial bombardment, a young novice was injured by a bullet, and many monastery buildings were damaged.
Similarly, at 10:30 a.m. yesterday, the military council troops bombarded upper Tung Khan Village and Nam Khun Village in Muse Township twice with jet fighters, and Y12 aircraft fired 6 bombs near Kaung Yar Village.
10. Myanmar embassies of the military council have released a statement that they have started collecting income tax
According to the December 13 statement from the Bangkok Embassy, among Myanmar nationals working in Thailand, blue collar workers such as factory/workshop workers, agriculture/breeding workers, construction workers, and general workers are considered to have a monthly income of 7,500 baht and must pay 150 baht monthly at 2%.
It also stated that by paying a monthly tax of 2%, 150 baht, they will be able to enjoy Myanmar Kyat equivalent to 7500 baht as legal money every month.
Myanmar workers who arrived in Thailand commented on the announcement on social media, “They are those who want free money that Myanmar workers have struggled to find despite all kinds of difficulties.” One posted, “They are robbing people to pay taxes on their salary.”
The military council’s Singapore Embassy stated that only after paying the income tax will passport renewal and consular matters be handled.
