“On Saturday, July 1, in the upper part of the New York State of the United States, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, the hero of Myanmar’s Spring Revolution, has a plan to meet with Myanmar’s democratic forces and the families of the Spring Revolution. The main thing is that the ambassador will come to us and meet with the families of the Spring Revolution. We will exchange views on developments in this spring revolution. We will also ask questions that we would like to ask. The ambassador will answer what he can. Mainly, it is to improve the unity among the forces of the Spring Revolution and to strengthen the other support forces. It is intended to have a higher understanding among us and put more effort into this Spring Revolution. Another thing we want to say from this event to world leaders and people from different countries is that the ambassador is our voice. The ambassador truly represents the voice of the entire Myanmar people. He is the most worthy representative of the Myanmar people who are suffering and facing all kinds of problems. We want to show our support for that. Again, we ask the leaders of the world to continue the ambassador’s current position. Therefore, for this purpose, we are planning a meeting with the community. The group organizing this event is United Hands for Myanmar, a group in the upper part of New York State. I am also one of the founders. So come the revolutionary forces who hear us. Since we are in the upper part of New York State, we have invited forces from the surrounding towns. In this, former political prisoners, comrades from ABSDF, former comrades from ethnic armed groups, people who worked tirelessly to support the Spring Revolution, other ethnic forces, and family communities such as Myanmar and Muslims, will all come together and discuss together.”
