“Today, July 22, is the first day of the Spring Development Bank’s Soft Launch. On this day, 1,000 people opened Spring Bank accounts, and I am proud to know that Spring Bank has more than 10,000 followers on social networks. Furthermore, I would like to encourage the public in their respective sectors to cooperate for the permanent eradication of the military dictatorship and the achievement of federal democracy.”

Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Nations stated this at the General Debate of the Ministerial Segment of the High-Level Political Forum held in July 2023.
“Goal 16 remains the cornerstone of other SDGs in Myanmar. Achieving peace, justice, accountable and inclusive institutions will place Myanmar on the right track to meeting all other SDGs. However, the military institution and its entrenched culture of impunity across all levels are generating total lack of rule of law in the country. The dismantling of the rule of law by the military junta is posing a serious threat to the regional peace and stability as the drug and human trafficking and transnational organized crimes continue to flourish.
It is crystal clear that ending this inhumane military junta will bring Myanmar back to the right track of the realization of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals),” Ambassador stated.
3. The Union Minister of Human Rights revealed increasing massacres by the terrorist military
Union Minister for Human Rights U Aung Myo Min announced on Twitter on July as follows:
“Another massacre in Sone Chaung village, Sagaing division on 21, July. 17 villagers arrested brutally and killed. Found 14 dead bodies. Since 2021, 143 cases massacres, killing at least 5 civilians in one incident have been recorded.”
On July 21, the junta forces raided Sone Chaung Village in the Yinmarbin Township of Sagaing Division early in the morning and killed three members of the defense forces and 11 civilians.
