1. The Acting President said that all the forces have the will and eagerness for federalism
On July 10, Acting President of the National Unity Government, Duwa Lashi La, delivered a message to the people saying, “All the forces have the will and eagerness for federalism.”
“At present, the fact that all the forces have the will and eagerness for federalism clearly shows that they are all coming together in the common political agreement and goal of the Spring Revolution,” the Acting President said.
Currently, the National Unity Government is proceeding according to the federal charter and is cooperating politically and militarily with ethnic revolutionary forces.
2. Union Minister U Htin Linn Aung said that if two to three Federal Wings drones can be provided to townships, the military attack can be successful in a short period of time
At the opening ceremony of the USD 40,000 fund-raising campaign to obtain combat drones for the Yaw Region Drone Forces, Union Minister U Htin Linn Aung said, “If two to three Federal Wings drones can be provided to the townships, the military attack can be successful in a short time.”
“The importance of drones in the technological battle is expanding more and more. And if only two or three of our Federal Wings drones can reach each township, I would like to say that this match will not be long. Once we can provide two or three Federal Wings drones to the townships, our battalions will be stronger. We will have more self-confidence. We will be able to dominate the sky more,” said the Union Minister.
The Union Minister said that Federal Wings drones can overcome the drone jammers of the military council and pose a threat to the enemy when conducting operations.
During the first 6 months of 2023, the Federal Wings drone force was able to conduct 281 drone operations and use about 680 different types of bombs. During the attacks, about 50 members of the terrorist military council were killed and many were injured.
3. The Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) held a meeting with the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division
On July 10, the meeting between the NUG’s Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division (27/2023) was held.
Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Soe Thura Tin, a member of ILACC, attended the meeting and gave an opening speech.
Then, officials from ministries explained the activities of relevant ministries, and members of district administrative bodies explained the activities on the ground.
Following, members of the township people’s administrative bodies exchanged views with relevant officials regarding policies, directions, procedures, and challenges encountered on the ground. The meeting was closed by the speech of Union Minister for Labour U Nai Tun Pe @ U Nai Suwunna, a member of ILACC.
The meeting was attended by Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Associate Secretaries, and officials from ministries, as well as team leaders and members of the township people’s administrative bodies of Sagaing Division.
4. Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration U Khu Hte Bu, said that since it is a people’s revolution, we must do our best with our utmost abilities
On July 10, Deputy Minister U Khu Hte Bu said the following at the meeting between the NUG Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MOHAI) and the township people’s administrative bodies of Bago, Ayeyarwady, and Yangon, and Tanintharyi Divisions.
“We are managing the public administration processes on behalf of the public, and we must carry out more activities than the situation we are in during the revolution. We need to work more cooperatively. It is a revolution in which the public participates, and we must do our best with our utmost abilities,” said the Deputy Minister.
Following, Permanent Secretary of MOHAI explained the activities of the ministries, and the completion status of the processes adopted in the previous meeting (12/2023). Then, the attending members of the township people’s administrative bodies exchanged views with relevant officials regarding the policies, direction, ground administrative activities, difficulties, and challenges encountered on the ground.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Khu Hte Bu, Permanent Secretary, Associate Secretary, officials from the Public Administration Department, Police Department, Fire Department, Immigration Department, and Department of Special Investigation, and members of the township people’s administrative bodies of Bago, Ayeyarwady, and Yangon, and Tanintharyi Divisions.
5. More than a hundred people died in Chin State due to a terrorist junta
According to data collected by AAPP (Assistance Association for Political Prisoners) from February 2021 to July 10, 2023, (110) people in Chin State were killed by the junta.
On July 8, at around 11 am, junta forces aerial bombed Wone Khon Village in M’ghinghlaw Village Tract in Mindat Township, Chin State, using a fighter plane, and IB-274 from Mindat Town fired artillery shells at the village without any clashes taking place. As a result, 3 women, including a 9-year-old girl and a breastfeeding mother, were killed and another man was seriously injured.
Since the February 1, 2021 coup and the emergence of the Spring Revolution, a total of (3,770) people, including pro-democracy activists and civilians have been killed through military crackdowns against the pro-democracy movement.
6. The battle between the Cobra Column Joint Force and the terrorist military council troops continues near Lat Kat Taung in Myawaddy
On July 10, the Cobra Column confirmed that the Cobra Column Joint Forces and the terrorist military council troops continued to fight near Lat Kat Taung in Myawaddy.
“On July 10, around 2:00 p.m., our joint forces and the terrorist military council troops clashed near Let Kat Taung in Myawaddy. We are still investigating the casualties on the enemy’s side, but there were no casualties on our side,” it stated.
It is reported that one citizen was seriously injured due to the explosion of a large weapon fired by the terrorist military council.
7. Ye Myat Village, in Ye Myat Village Tract, Ye-U Township was bombarded by the junta’s air force without a fight
On the morning of July 10 (at 9:45 a.m.), Ye-U PaKaFa confirmed that the junta’s air force bombarded Ye Myat Village, Ye Myat Village Tract, Ye-U Township although no battle broke out.
“On the morning of July 10 (9:45 a.m.), the military council conducted aerial bombardment on the village of Ye Myat Village in Ye-U Township. It can be considered that the village where ordinary people live was bombed, according to the reports by Dalans, although there was no battle or camp.
Due to the air attack, the school’s glass windows, ceilings, the holy umbrella of a pagoda and the electricity cables were destroyed.
8. The military council column of 120-strong coming from the 33rd Division was attacked with 2 drone bombs at Ywar Ma Village, Myinmu
On July 10, Sagaing District Battalion 6 informed the military news that 2 drone bombs were used to attack a 120-strong military council column coming from the 33rd Division at Ywar Ma Village, Myinmu.
It stated that on July 9, at 4:25 p.m., the military council column consisting of 120 soldiers from the 33rd Division was attacked at Ywar Ma Village, Myinmu Township, Sagaing District, by Squadron 1 of Sagaing District Battalion 6 with a force of ten company commanders, using 2 drone bombs.
It is said that the casualties on the military council side due to the attack is still being investigated.
9. Launching of USD 40,000 fundraising campaign to provide combat drones for the Yaw Region Drone Forces
It is reported that a USD 40,000 fundraising campaign has been launched to provide combat drones for the Yaw Region Drone Forces.
It is a (U $40,000) fundraising program, led by the Federal Wings and Yaw Region Drone Forces to raise funds to provide strategic high-tech drones for the victory of the Spring Revolution and the eradication of the terrorist military council in the Yaw Region, with the joint participation of the Ministry of Defence No. (1) Military Region Logistic Office, No. (1) Military Region Gangaw District Battalion 19 and HYPER UAV FORCE.
The campaign opening was attended by CDM captains Capt. Nyi Thuta, Capt. Lin Htet Aung, Miss Federal Wings from Federal Wings, Comrade Ko Oo, Comrade Zero from HYPER UAV FORCE, Dr. Kyi Soe Tun in charge of Saw Township PaKaFa, U Zaw Moe Aung from MFDMC and professionals.
