Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann stated the following in his speech on the 2nd Anniversary of the United States Chin Coalition (USCC) on July 1:

“Now, the military council is losing troops day by day, and its territorial control is decreasing. As we all know, the ability to control territory by the resistance alliance forces in Chin State, Karenni State, and Sagaing Region is now very strong, and Kayin, Mon, and Magway have also already seen the successes of our resistance alliance forces. The military council has reached a situation where it is resisting a wide offensive in Tanintharyi, Bago, Yangon, and Ayeyarwady.”

During the People’s Resistance War, more than 30,000 junta soldiers were eliminated, and there have been a number of soldiers who have surrendered.

At the meeting, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe remarked: “Today’s revolution is being waged by the whole country, by the entire people, by all the ethnic groups, minorities, and all ethnicities, in order to ensure that the military dictatorship never happens again in Myanmar and to change the country ruled by chauvinism into a federal democratic country. Chin State is the first region that has to be liberated first, and hence priority is also being given to it.”

Union Minister U Htin Linn Aung remarked: “Today, there is no distinction between races or creeds; everyone is already one. We are all uniting in fighting against the common enemy. The young people who are leading today’s revolution are showing that we are all one. The revolution that started with Tumee (traditional hand-made firearms of the Chin people) has been upgraded to one that is capable of using modern drones to bomb. Looking at the entire revolution, the resistance is taking control of 61% of the country’s territory, according to AI’s calculation at the end of May, while the military council is only able to take control of 39%.”

3. Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye will meet with Burmese diasporas in New York, United States

Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye will have a community meeting with Burmese diasporas in New York, United States, on July 9.

At the meeting, he will brief the Spring Revolution and will respond to public inquiries.

Recently, NUG Union Ministers Dr. Zaw Wai Soe and U Htin Linn Aung, who are on a work visit in the United States, are also having a series of community meetings in the United States.

4. In the first six months of 2023, the Federal Wings Drone Force conducted 281 drone operations and eliminated about 50 troops of the terrorist junta

On July 3, the Federal Wings Drone Force released a first-half 2023 report to the public.

“Within the first six months of 2023, the Federal Wings Drone Force conducted a total of 281 drone operations, using about 680 grenades of different types. During the operations, about 50 troops of the terrorist military council were eliminated and many others were injured,” the report stated.

According to the report, during the operations within the first six months of 2023, one member of the Federal Wings Drone Force gave his life for the country, injuring six others, of whom four recovered and resumed their duties while the other two are still receiving medical attention.

The Battalion No. 1801 of the Federal Wings Drone Force was formally established under the Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government during the first half of 2023.

The Federal Wings’s drone operations are now conducted not only in Kayin Region, which is the original base area, but also in Sagaing Region.

5. Junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members who were travelling from Pakokku to the In Pin checkpoint were attacked with remote-controlled GPS mines

On July 3, the Young Force UG, the 2nd company of the Pakokku Township Pa-Ka-Fa, claimed that it had attacked junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members who were travelling from Pakokku to the In Pin checkpoint.

“On July 2, at around 10:30 p.m., we attacked the soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members who were travelling from Pakokku to the In Pin checkpoint again by using remote-controlled GPS mines,” said the Young Force UG.

The Young Force UG cautioned the public to be cautious when travelling on the Pakokku-Myaing Road.
