On May 15, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management stated it in Situation Report No. 2 on the Super Cyclone MOCHA’s Emergency Response.
The contribution was 10,000,000 kyats of Initial Fund Support for Rakhine State, 3,000,000 kyats for Maungdaw and Gwa townships, 10,000,000 kyats for 9 townships in Chin State, 7,600,000 kyats for the Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, 15,500,000 kyats for 7 townships in Magway, 10,250,000 kyats for 3 townships in Sagaing, and 100,000 kyats for one injured person in Yangon Region.
The Cyclone Contingency Fund of USD 1 million was contributed for emergency response by the National Unity Government.

The powerful Cyclone Mocha crossed the Rakhine coast near Sittwe City at 11:00 a.m. on May 14.
As a result of Cyclone Mocha and its aftermath, it was initially reported that 5 people had been killed and many injured in Rakhine, Shan, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady.
