7. Formation of a support team from the Salin (SPDF)

The Salin (SPDF) has formed a support team, according to the report. As reported in January, it is stated that the support team was formed to primarily support the southern Salin revolutionary forces and twin alliance divisions. It is said that those who want to serve on the support team must be able to provide support for at least 6 months or more, and must be able to support within 50,000 kyats to 100,000 kyats per month for at least 6 months. Screams could be heard from inside the police battalion about an hour after the battle ended, and the police may have been killed or injured, but the investigation is still ongoing. The People’s Defense Forces were able to successfully retreat without being harmed.

According to the report, six members of the military council were killed when defense forces attacked their small scout boat near Mudaw village in Kani township, Sagaing region. The Kyauk Lone Gyi (KLG) PDF reported the military news on January 5. “The Sayar San team, along with the DRPA team, led by the KLG KLG PDF team, were able to capture the stranded scout boat near Mudaw village in Kani township around five o’clock in the evening on January 4. The military council’s scout boat was drowned in the water,” they said.

11. Nearly 19 terrorist army members died in a fierce battle between the military council and the People’s Defense Forces

According to the report, a fierce battle between the terrorist army and defense forces in Kani township, Sagaing division, cut off the food delivery route, and approximately 19 members of the military council were killed. The terrorist army’s support ship is said to have been captured between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. during the battle.

The Guerrilla Warfare K.P.K confirmed the news on January 5 at 6:00 a.m.  The Guerrilla Warfare K.P.K., TSR, Taze Tiger, PLA, PRLF battalion No. 8, PDF, and PSF joint forces attacked about 140 Pyu Saw Htee people who came out from Sinnge village to Kyuntawkone village at the entrance of the village with 6 mines. It is said that the rest of the Pyu and military council troops entered Kyuntawkone village and burned down the civilian houses. When the Pyu Saw Htee came out to the west of the village, the K.P.K, Thunder Storm, and PSF forces opened fire with small and heavy weapons, and the two sides exchanged fire. The injured Pyu Saw Htee and military council troops were taken into two cars, but the number of deaths is still under investigation.
