Union Prime Minister urges to quickly end the uprising by balancing the revolution

Union Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than urged to quickly end the uprising by balancing the spring revolution. The Prime Minister said on November 3 while holding a meeting of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee.

“Every day is important not only for the people who live under the brutal terrorist war council but also for the people who supported the revolution until this time. Additionally, time is so crucial for the people who supported the finance from both inside and outside of the country. It is essential to systematically implement the one-year strategy and to quickly end the uprising by balancing the revolution,” he said. 

Union Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than, the chairman of the Interim Local Administration Central Committee, led the meeting; Vice Chairman 1, Union Ministers and Deputy Union Ministers (Central Committee members), Permanent Secretaries, and Officials from various departments attended, including U Lwin Ko Latt, Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration.

Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun said that the number of people killed by the army has been increasing day by day. At the UN third committee of the 77th General Assembly, the Ambassador said in a general discussion program on the report of the Human Rights Council under the subject of “Promotion and Protection of Human Rights”.

“The number of people killed by the army has been increasing day by day, and time is so crucial to save the lives and property of innocent people, and the tradition of not being punished can stop forever by being able to bring the perpetrators to judge,” he said. “Therefore, now is the time for the Human Rights Council to effectively and promptly use the evidence received by the IIMM within its mandate, and the Myanmar issues could be transferred to the International Criminal Court using this evidence from the Security Council,” the ambassador reiterated.

The Deputy Minister of Human Rights participated in an online workshop regarding the challenges that may be encountered in the establishment of a federal democratic state in Myanmar. On November 3, Khun Baham Htan, Deputy Minister of Human Rights, participated in the online discussion with the title of “Protecting Civic Society and Ethnic Minorities in a Federal Democratic Myanmar – Challenges and Opportunities”. Daw Khin Ma Ma Myo, Union Minister of Commerce, attended in the discussion, and Daw Khin Ohnmar (Progressive Voice) and Debbie Stothard (ALTSEAN-Burma) also participated.

The discussion is a part of the ASEAN public meeting, mainly focused on the issues of challenges and opportunities that could be encountered in the establishment of a federal democratic state of Myanmar.

The regular seat is set at $25, and the funds raised from the event will be donated to the people of Myanmar. Moreover, hoodies and t-shirts with the “Moe Khar Yay” logo are prepared to be sold to raise funds, and traditional Burmese food will be displayed and sold at the event.

It is reported that the spring clinic opened a further specialist clinic for rheumatic arthritis in November. “Let me inform you that the Spring Clinic, which is gradually expanding, has now opened a specialist clinic for arthritis.
