NUG, Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) met and discussed with Public Administration Organizations of the special administrative region

On October 9 at 10:00 am, the National Unity Government, Interim Local Administration Central Committee, and Public Administration Organizations of the special administrative region held a dialogue meeting (29/2022). 

Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister of the Ministry of Health and Education, gave an opening speech at the meeting. After that, departments discussed activities by each sector such as finance, electricity, communication, tax collection, defense, health, education, and judiciary, including natural resources and environmental conservation within the administrative region. Then, the public administration groups of the special administrative region had a mutual discussion about the difficulties they are facing on the ground and what they want to know. The meeting was attended by leaders of public administration organizations from the special administrative region, members and ministers from relevant Ministries, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Directors General, and Directors.

The Union Ministers of the National Unity Government wished for the public on the full moon day of Thadingyut

On the occasion of the full moon day of Thadingyut, Foreign Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung wished all the people of Myanmar a peaceful and prosperous new federal democratic state and new days. Union Minister of Human Rights, U Aung Myo Min, committed “from revolutionary Thadingyut to victory Thadingyut, we will strive to fulfill our responsibilities according to our blood and life.”

Dr. Tu Hkawng, Union Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation wished “Happy Thadingyut Festival, may everyone be safe and healthy on the occasion of Thadingyut.”

U Lwin Ko Latt, Union Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration said that “Only the public are mothers, only the public are fathers and respect the public”.

The Ministry of Defense wishes all those participating in the people’s resistance war to enter to the kingdom as soon as possible

On October 9, the Ministry of Defense informed that they wished all those participating in the people’s resistance war to enter the kingdom as soon as possible. “Today, 1384, on the full moon day of Thadingyut (Abhidhamma day), I wish all those people who have participated mentally and physically in the people’s resistance war may be in good health and enter the kingdom as soon as possible,” he said. Currently, the National Unity Government has announced that the people’s resistance war will end within the next year.

Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye says the spring revolution will be continuing to march toward the victory

On October 9, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye wrote on his social media that the spring revolution will be continuing to march toward victory. “Revolutionary forces are fighting together with one voice.  Therefore, it is impossible to separate, delay, and deviate from the revolution because of their unity forces. We will continue to march toward victory and enjoy the coming Thadingyut festival together,” he said. The military council unjustly seized the state power on February 1, 2021.

Union Minister U Htin Lin Aung said that the CDM force is only slightly reduced, and all CDM forces are on the side of the NUG government

On October 9, captain Thunder from the Cobra column informed that Deputy Union Minister, Ei Thinzar Maung, went to the cobra column and met with revolutionary soldiers. “National Unity Government, Deputy Union Minister Ei Thinzar Maung and our comrades hold an introductory meeting. The comrades asked what they wanted to know, and shared their experiences. When I told the Deputy Minister about my brother who was involved in CDM and asked for help, then she took the necessary records and promised to try to make it happen. Therefore, I feel satisfied with that,” he said. Next, cobra column’s comrades and the Deputy Minister Ei Thinzar Maung took memorable photographs.

The secretary of the Ministry of Defense says there has been increasing of over 15 percent in armaments

In an interview with a news agency in October, the secretary of the Ministry of Defense said that there has been increased of over 15 percent in armaments. “There has been progress in arming. In the past, it was only 15 percent, and it was exceeded now. However, the arming force has been increased along with the increasement of the public’s participation,” he said. Currently, the National Unity Government is using up to 95 percent of the proceeds from the sale of EOD shares and treasury bonds for defense spending.

More than US$10,000 was earned from the sale of tickets for diamond necklace and pendant to donate to places needed for Myanmar

On October 9, Ko Htein Lin, the seller of lottery tickets, said more than US$10,000 was earned from the sale of lottery tickets for diamond necklace and pendant to donate places needed for Myanmar. “We were able to successfully select the winners. A total of 1,126 tickets were sold out and we received a fund of US Dollar 11,260.  All proceeds will be donated directly to places needed in Myanmar,” he said. Lottery numbers and winners are diamond necklace – 099 (Ashin Zawana) and diamond pendant-956 (Ko William from Daly City). He also said that he is especially grateful to the little sister who donated jewelry for this plan, and Ko Win Hlaing who designed tickets and advertisement, CRPH-OFP team which makes digital signatures, ticket vendors and all those people who bought and supported him.

11 policemen were killed due to the attack of KIA and PDF in Banmauk police station

On October 9, Banmauk revolutionary forces confirmed that 11 policemen were killed due to the attack of KIA and PDF in Banmauk police station. “On October 4, when KIA and PDFs went to the Banmauk police station and fired up as a warm-up exercise, then 11 soldiers were killed,” he said. It is reported that the incident has been tightly covered by the military council and dead bodies were buried only in the police station, also the funeral was done by inviting a monk from the Myoma monastery.

Ivory police outpost in Kyun Hla township was attacked by a drone

It is reported that the Ivory police outpost in Kyun Hla township was attacked by a drone attached to a 40-mm bomb and hand-made bomb. Taze TRF said that the Ivory police outpost in Kyun Hla township was attacked by a drone at around 11:00 a.m on October 9. “At around 11:00 a.m on October 9, the Ivory police outpost in Kyun Hla township was attacked by a drone in collaboration with People’s defense army battalion (16) Shwebo and People’s defense army battalion (1) division (4) Kanbalu district,” they said.

It was expressed that the drone fell directly under the shade of the tree near the Phuu Saw Htee and the military troops, after that they fired with guns without hitting the target. At present, the exact damage has not known yet. 

Tamu PDF battalion 4 informs not to allow vehicles and motorcycles to pass through the Tamu-Kalay Road from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Tamu PDF battalion 4 said in October that they do not allow vehicles and motorcycles to pass through the Tamu-Kalay Road from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.  It is ​a notice to announce that any vehicles such as cars and motorcycles are not absolutely allowed from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am through the Tamu-Kale Road. People’s Defense Force, Tamu 4th battalion said to follow this statement until the road is re-announced to use.    

The IUF warns that the speed of the revolution will be increased

On October 9, the IUF informed that the speed of the revolution would increase. “We will carefully check the messages sent from the public to the IUF about spy teams, the military council and the police news, the veterans supporting the military council, and the economic pillars of the military council. The information will be sent not only to the members of the IUF but also to the allied urban guerrilla groups and other revolutionary forces. 

Since the speed of the revolution will be increased, the public needs to be aware of the revolution. Again, the IUF urges people to be aware of the revolution,” they said. The IUF group is also a group that can defeat terrorist leader Soe Win’s teacher, brigadier General Ohn Thwin, and his son-in-law.

There were eighty Phu Saw Htee who defected from the military to Myaing PakaPha

On October 9, the People’s Defense Force, Myaing township, informed that there were eighty Phu Saw Htee who defected from the military to Myaing PakaPha. On October 8, 15 men and 12 women from Phu Saw Htee in Zipya village got the right vision and they have no longer cooperation with the military. Then, the defense forces took care of their livelihoods in the military evacuation camps in various regions, saving sim cards from mobile phones and communicating with relatives with landline phones, and helping them to plan their journeys to destinations. It is reported that there are about 80 Phu Saw Htee previously 53 and now 27.
