National Unity Government is consulting on developing district-level Supreme Courts

Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration U Lwin Ko Latt said in NUG’s response program to public questions on the night of 31 July.

“We are consulting to develop Supreme Courts at the district level very soon. The crimes committed by the Military Council have been compiled by district and township. There are almost five hundred complaints filed by the victims themselves,”

U Lwin Ko Latt, Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration, said during the NUG response program to public questions held on the night of July 31 that the National Unity Government will grant honorary citizenship to the expatriates who helped throughout the Spring Revolution.

“We, NUG government will give honorary citizenship to those who have helped all the way through the revolution. In this regard, we are trying to finalize the project framework this week and we will present this policy at the cabinet meeting next week and get approval,”

The minister also said that the National Unity Government is considering the tax aspects of expatriate Burmese who are deeply involved in the revolution, and in August, the public will be informed about other topics, including the granting of honorary citizenship.

During the NUG response program to public questions on the night of 31 July, Union Minister of Education, Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said,

“In liberated areas, on-campus teachings are able to be carried out. Similarly, in ethnic revolution areas, there are more students than before, from two/three thousand to twenty/thirty thousand.”

The minister also said that the number of students in Karen State, Kachin State, and Karenni regions is increasing, and even new teaching staff have to be recruited.

As a result of the killings by the terrorist military council, 29 villagers were killed in Ywathit village (Southern), Pale Township, Sagaing Division, including a 15-year-old minor.

The Ministry of Human Rights announced that the ministry has received detailed records of two incidents of targeted attacks on the public in Sagaing Division by the terrorist military council and that there are more villages that have been attacked.

In the movement, slogans against the military dictatorship were shouted simultaneously.

LGBT, basic education students, and some young people also participated in the activity.

Rosy Women’s Movement was started on 28 August 2021 in Dawei District with the aim of promoting women’s participation in anti-military dictatorship movements and eliminating discrimination against women.
