On 19 July, the Union Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (NUG) wrote on social media, “There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. At one time, because of Sama Duwa Sinwa Naung, who considered the English as a permanent enemy, the Kachin leaders did not listen to the advice of the American missionaries, deviating from the path of establishing an independent nation.
