Acting President Duwa Lashi La remarks that the military dictator is instilling fear in the people
At the 46th Salai Tin Maung Oo Memorial Day Ceremony, held on 26 June, the Acting President Duwa Lashi La remarked “The military dictators often manipulate the people through fear. They instill fear in the people and push them to kneel under military boots instead of justice and freedom, and push them for altitudes that focus on personal comfort and ignore injustice instead of equality and human rights.”
The military unjustly seized state power on 1 February 2021.
After that, the military cracked down on the anti-coup movements and shot young people in their heads.
Union Prime Minister remarks that the military council that destroyed Chin State and the whole Myanmar are demons
At the 46th Salai Tin Maung Oo Memorial Day Ceremony, held on 26 June, the Union Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than remarked “John the Baptist, who was a Prisoner of Belief of Roman rulers was described an injustice evil demon. It can be seen easily that the military dictators resembles a evil demon by looking at the inhumane acts of the military junta troops across Myanmar today, including in Thantlang, Chin State.”
The military junta killed over 2,000 civilians and detained over 10,000 in various prisons.
Teacher and student feedback are being collected for the interim higher education
At the 46th Salai Tin Maung Oo Memorial Day Ceremony, held on 26 June, the pro-democracy and opposition leader U Min Ko Naing said, “No revolution was sunset. They were relayed. They were not defeated, including Salai Tin Maung Oo. I believe that this 21st Century Spring Revolution will be the end of the people’s revolution. The revolution will be fulfilled by the last generation.”
The People Defense Force was formed on 5 May 2021, with a majority of young people.
Teacher and student feedback are being collected for the interim higher education
The collecting process of teacher and student feedback is carried out jointly by the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government, Burma Academy, and Spring University Myanmar.
Since sustainable education programs are being developed by various higher education institutions for interim education, a survey on the experiences, needs, challenges, and prospects of the teachers and students currently involved in those education programs, is taken.
This survey aims to develop more effective interim education programs, to provide students in difficult situations with access to education, and to reflect the voices of students and teachers in building a federal education system.

SYM UG announced the 24 June Taunggyi traffic light explosion, “The explosion was carried out by SYM UG team on purpose. We are sorry that we had to detonate a few seconds ahead of planned time due to some reason, although it was intended to detonate the terrorist military leader Vice General Soe Win’s convoy. We hope the public could understand.”
There were some damages due to explosion.
A police private from Pakhan Nge police outpost joins the Myaing Villages Revolution Front (MVRF)
On 25 June, the Myaing Villages Revolution Front (MVRF) announced, “Aung Thu Kyaw, a police private with ID no. La/280292, from Pakhan Nge police outpost in Yesagyo Township, Magway Division, joined the Myaing Villages Revolution Front (MVRF) and participated in CDM on 22 June.”
Currently, there are over 10,000 soldiers and police who participated in CDM.
The military junta bans people from using the pedestrian overpasses in Yangon
In June, the pedestrian overpasses were closed by covering with galvanized iron sheets.
The closed pedestrian overpasses include the pedestrian overpass in front of B.E.H.S (1) Dagon and Hledan pedestrian overpass, and the reason for the closedown is unknown.
Pedestrian overpasses were built by the civilian government to prevent people from being involved in traffic accidents.
