Prime Minister said that the military council, which has difficulties recovering in various sectors, is trying various ways to threaten people
At the 57th Cabinet Meeting of the National Unity Government, the Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khine Thann said, “In the domestic situation, this week, the most disturbing thing for the people is the confirmation of the death sentences of four of our heroes, including 88 Generation Student Leader Ko Jimmy and former Member of Parliament Ko Phyo Zeyar Thaw. Ministry of Justice had explicitly declared it illegal. In reality, the military council, which has difficulties recovering in various sectors, is trying various ways to threaten the people.”
At present, more than 10,000 people have been detained, and more than 100 people have been sentenced to death by the military council.
Malaysia offered to open NUG Representative Office in Malaysia
At a meeting with Myanmar families in France in June, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said, “Now, Malaysia has offered us to open a Representative Office. We have discussed the issue of educating more than 200,000 Myanmar nationals in Malaysia. This kind of thing has never happened before. It is gradually improving within a year after NUG was formed.”
At present, the countries where the National Unity Government has opened its Representative Offices are the Czech Republic, France, UK, Australia, Korea, Japan, and Norway.

At a meeting with Myanmar families in France in June, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye said, “When we are on this revolutionary journey, what we are doing is to regain the people’s power back into the hands of the people. The military dictators have usurped it for many years. We have been living under their control. We all are trying to get the people’s power back.
Moreover, Union Minister added that the Spring Revolution has a 100% chance of success, and the National Unity Government is going on two paths: the Revolution and the Federal charter.
There are two children under the age of 18 included in the 114 people sentenced to death by the military council.
According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), from 1 February 2021 to 7 June 2022, a total of 10,976 people were detained, of which 1,119 were imprisoned.
Of those convicted, 73 were sentenced to death, including two children under the age of 18.
Including 41 people who were sentenced to death in absentia, a total of 120 people were convicted in absentia.
Therefore, there are a total of 114 people who have been sentenced to death (both in person and in absentia).
Residents in Monywa are warned not to go out unnecessarily due to clashes and military tensions.
On 8 June 2022, the Northwest Plains Revolutionary Force notified, “The Northwest Plains Revolutionary Force has issued a warning to the people of Monywa not to go out unnecessarily starting from 8 June 2022 due to the ongoing clashes and military tensions within the township, including the town.”
KGZ Force is trying to equip a 130 mm heavy artillery shell on a crane
An official statement by KGZ Force on 7 June 2022 said, “We have internally agreed to sell AK-22 rifle and M-16A1 rifle to purchase a crane, that need to be equipped with 130 mm heavy artillery shell manufactured by the Force, and a new M4-A1 rifle.”
The KGZ (Army) is one of the revolutionary forces resisting the military council.

A fleeing lawyer said that, in March, after the military coup, the military council started cracking down on the protesters violently, prosecuting them, and torturing them to death. Earlier, lawyers provided free legal assistance to the detainees, and later, the lawyers themselves had to flee.

A lawyer who is a member of NLD said that the military council arrested Daw Ywat Nu Aung, a lawyer carrying out the causes of the country’s leaders, and charged her under Counter-Terrorism Law. The military council has also prohibited the lawyers representing the country’s leaders from speaking out. Similarly, they also threatened the lawyers related to NLD, leading some NLD member lawyers to flee to the liberated areas.

According to the people close to Insein Prison, about 2,000 revolutionary prisoners were facing lawsuits, and the assisting lawyers are restricted in various ways when entering the court.

He added that the center has many HIV-infected orphans and patients abandoned by families and thought the center could no longer afford them, and it was not a situation that they could be asked to leave.

HIV patients have to take ART medicine regularly and require adequate nutrition, but the center no longer afford it. There is also a high financial need for the patients who need emergency hospitalization, including the patients taking TB medicine.

According to the Ministry of Health under the NLD government, there were nearly 250,000 people infected with HIV, and almost 150,000 patients among them were taking ART medicine.
