On May 16, 88 Generation Student Leader Min Ko Naing wrote on his social network that the NUG will be seen as a welcome guest in the middle of international arena.

“We have to see the enthusiasm for the people’s revolution. Despite the sacrifices, the rise of the people’s resistance is a reflection of the truth of “flaring the hood ‌as if bend down”. The international community will now see the NUG as a welcome guest. Take a look at the achievements of international relations today, and the territorial controls available, including highways. Because of whom (we get these) ? The only answer is because of the people. There will be more victories for the persistent and brave people,” said Min Ko Naing.
