Captain Nagar demands to the Minister of Defense of the National Unity Government to equip a battalion to be armed
On May 8, it was reported that Captain Nagar of the Myanmar Royal Dragon Army(MRDA) have submitted an open letter to the Minister of Defense of the National Unity Government, U Ye Mon, asking him to equip a battalion with weapons.
After the NUG Government formed, battalions were systematically recruited and recognized in the Ministry of Defense (MOD). At this time, we are facing a situation where the military council is preparing to launch an offensive against our region. Therefore, during our meeting with Minister U Ye Mon on 13th March 2022, it was not possible to install all the MRDA enlisted battalions. We respectfully request to install a battalion with weapons within a month from that date, as promised

Sagaing Division, Thanpauk, Zinkale, Ben, Mutha Villages in Minkin Township, have been burnt to the ground by military council and villagers need food, shelter and medicine while fleeing into jungle.
On April 26, After the local PDFs cleared 21 soldiers during the clashes in Zinkale village in Minkin Township, the military council violently set fire to Thanpauk and Zinkale villages, said a Minkin resident.
