The NUG Ministry of Defense announces that the disarmament of those involved in the murder in Yin Mar Pin Township in Sagaing Division is being carried out under the close supervision of the district team
On September 12, the Ministry of Defense released a report on the action taken in the murder case in Yin Mar Pin Township, Sagaing Division.
It is about the incident that the Kapaing local defense group under the people’s defense force of Thapyayaye Sayadaw (aka) Bo Thanmani, which was led by Tike Kaung (aka) Bo Phone Htet, arrested four people, including a non-CDM firefighter, between Latlope Village and Pyaungpya Village in November 2021.
Bo Htike Maung and five other comrades from the Hero Tiger group, who went to Kapaing Village to secure the release of those arrested, were also arrested.
A total of ten people were wrongly accused and killed in the incident, and Bo Thanmani, Maung Oo, Ye Lay, and Tike Kaung were accused of killing them.
According to the report of MOD, Tike Kaung was summoned three times in February, March, and April, but he did not come and answer. Sayar San, who is in charge of the battalion 4, and his group are the primary suspects in the murder case.
The statement also states that the disarmament of those involved in the murder is being carried out and that a military court will be formed as soon as possible to try the offenders.

On September 12, the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government released information on the people’s defensive war from September 2021 to August 2022.
It states, “Within a year, 20,589 soldiers of the military council were killed, and 7,313 were wounded. 2,524 soldiers were killed in May, and it was the month in which the most military council soldiers were killed during the year.”
The information also stated that as a result of the military council’s atrocious actions, 3,010 civilians were killed, 1,933 were injured, and 14,119 were arrested. Most of the military council’s violence against civilians occurred in Sagaing.
The seventeen members of the CDM police and soldiers serving as PDF are given an honorarium
To mark the one-year anniversary of the declaration of the people’s defensive war by the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government, a celebration event was held to honor 17 members of the CDM police and soldiers who decided to stand with the people and are serving as PDF comrades in the No. 3 and No. 5 Battalions of the Gangaw Township.
U Yee Mon, Union Minister of Defense, sent a message of congratulations to the ceremony.
The message states, “The National Unity Government regards all military personnel and policemen who come to the embrace of the people as good comrades. I would like to express my pride in the intelligence of the comrades who decided to stand with the people and defect to cooperate with the people.”
It is said that those CDM comrades served in No. 3 and No. 5 Battalions of the Gangaw Township for almost a year. The ceremony was attended by division and district officials, battalion commanders, deputy battalion commanders, members of the Township defense force, and Township administrations.
The CDM comrades handed over the weapons they bought during their defect, and they were given an honorarium.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense says that the Spring Revolution of Myanmar has come a long way compared to international revolutions
U Naing Htoo Aung, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, said during the revolutionary talk “Dancing with the Ladies” held on the evening of September 11.
The Permanent Secretary said, “Compared to international revolutions, it can be said that this spring revolution has come a long way. It can be said that this is a standard revolution in world history. But if we think about it realistically, although we have come a long way, we can’t be happy and we can’t reduce our efforts because we have not yet reached our destination.”
With the military coup on February 1, 2021, public movements against the military regime emerged and the Spring Revolution has begun.
The NUG Ministry of Labour helps 227 Myanmar migrant workers fired without any cause in Thailand get back their pay and work status
The Ministry of Labour (MOL) of the National Unity Government released a statement that the issue of 227 Myanmar migrant workers being fired without any cause in a garment factory in Nakhon Pathom Province in Thailand has been resolved.
It states, “There was a complaint to help solve the issue of 277 Myanmar migrant workers in a garment factory near Big C Mall (Aomyai) in Nakhon Pathom Province in Thailand being fired without cause as MOU workers were about to enter. Ko Ye Min (Aid Alliance Committee-AAC) and his team, and U Thet Paing Min, who were assigned by the NUG Ministry of Labour to solve the problems of factory workers, visited the factory on September 8 and September 9 in connection with the labour departments in Nakhon Pathom and helped solve them.”
It is also stated that the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare is taking action to ensure that 167 workers who were fired from the factory without notice received a total of 829,155 baht for 15 days’ labour and workers with at least 120 days of working days can receive compensation, and the Nakhon Pathom labour agency is helping the workers to obtain official migrant worker status.
For the other 60 workers who will soon be laid off from the factory, the Nakhon Pathom Department of Employment negotiated with the factory officials and reached an agreement that they could submit their resignation letters within a week and obtain official migrant worker status, and the Nakhon Pathom Department of Employment agreed that it would assist the workers if they have employment difficulties.
It is stated that the Ministry of Labour of the National Unity Government expressed its special thanks to the officials of the Nakhon Pathom Province Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Department of Employment, and Social Security Office under the Ministry of Labour, Thailand for their assistance in accordance with Thailand’s labour laws, Ko Ye Min (AAC) and his team, and U Thet Paing Min.
The MOL (NUG) also announced that action will be taken against agencies that send MOU workers to Thailand without verifying whether there is a need for workers.

U Thein Oo, Union Minister of Justice, said during the discussion on the emergence of a new constitution.
The Minister said, “At this time, when all the ethnic groups, including the Burmese, are fighting against the military regime, it is very important where this fight is headed. What we want is to build a Federal Democratic Union. Only if we have the same goal of building a federal democratic union will we be able to properly build a country that continues to be peaceful and prosperous after the fall of the terrorist regime.”
Currently, the National Unity Government has announced that it will complete the Spring Revolution before the military council’s elections in August 2023.

On September 12, the People Defense Force-Htilin, an ally of Yaw Regional PDF’s Alliance (YRPA), reported, “The People Defense Force-Htilin (YRPA) Medical Team has been providing health care to villages that are less accessible to health care facilities, difficult to purchase pharmaceuticals, and in need of health care since the beginning of June. Till now, we have provided health care to 16 villages, 3 IDP camps, and a total of 778 patients.”
Currently, a medical course was conducted for more than one month to solve the health problems in 6 squadrons, and it was taught both theoretically and practically. Now, all 12 medics have passed the qualification test and are serving in each squadron, said the People Defense Force-Htilin (YRPA).

On September 12, the Salingyi GZ Local PDF announced, “Salingyi LPDF warmly welcomes the people’s soldiers who will come to the People’s Embrace with full weapons and ammunition. As a tribute to the people’s soldiers, we will be glad to award them 70 Lakhs kyats.”
Moreover, the Salingyi GZ Local PDF also stated that those who defect from the military council and come to stand with the people without bringing weapons will also be sent to a safe place.
The number of IDPs in the island (Yay Lal Kyun) area in Yesagyo Township has increased to nearly a thousand due to the military junta
On September 11, Sayar Moe of the Yay Lal Kyun People Defense Force Alliance, said, “In the past two months, the number of people fleeing the war has gradually increased due to the destruction and disturbance by the military junta. The villages are helping each other with accommodation and feeding; those villages safe from war help those who are fleeing the war. Two months have passed, and so they are facing difficulties. Even in the village where I am, there are about five hundred people fleeing the war in their acquaintance houses in the village and about five hundred in the school.”
During the marching of the military junta troops in Yesagyo Township, Magway Division, there were targeted attacks on civilians.
