1.The terrorist military council’s army is just a mercenary force to protect a certain group of people

Comrade Kyaw Tun, Chairman of the Karenni Nationalities People’s Liberation Front (KNPLF) said that the army of the terrorist Military Council is just a mercenary force to protect a certain group of people. On June 26, he said this in his speech on the 46th anniversary of the Karenni Nationalities People’s Liberation Front (KNPLF).

“Our army needs to be a people’s service army that stands up and protects the oppressed people of all ethnicities. That goal, that idea, that political process is like the lifeblood of every army that will serve the people. The enemy’s army is just like a mercenary army that protects a group of people by violently oppressing people of all ethnicities and protecting the military group,” he said.

On June 26, the 46th anniversary of the founding of the Karenni Nationalities People’s Liberation Front (KNPLF) was held somewhere in Karenni State.

2. The 48th commemoration ceremony of Salai Tin Maung Oo Day was held at the PRA Magway rear headquarters

On June 26, the People’s Revolution Alliance (PRA-Magway) announced that the 48th commemoration ceremony of Salai Tin Maung Oo Day was held at the PRA Magway rear headquarters.

“Our comrades are striking to fight for the people’s revolution holding the spirit, conviction, and slogans of Salai Tin Maung Oo, who planted the seeds of the great student movement; “I will never kneel under your military boots” and “You can kill me, but you can never kill my conviction and spirit”,” it stated.

In addition, PRA Magway informed that they will fight to the end not only for the military dictatorship but also for the war.

3. In 1027 Operation Phase-2, 24 military council camps, 17 prisoners of war, and weapons and ammunition were seized

Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced that in implementing Phase-2 of 1027 Operation in Nawnghkio, Kyaukme, Mongmit, Mogok, Hsipaw, etc. in the Ta’ang Brigade 2 region, 24 military council camps were captured, seizing a lot of weapons and ammunition and 17 prisoners of war.

During the 2-day battle, the military council camps in Kyaukme Township such as Nar Ai Khan Camp, Sakhan Thar, Peace Hill, No. 352 Artillery Hill, Ingyin Kaing, Golf Course, General Administration Office, and Police Station were captured. They also captured military council camps in Nawnghkio Township such as YaMaKha-115, Police Station, Kantkaw Camp, Khe Mon Camp, Kyauk Kyan Camp, Hospital, Toll Gate, Factory, Train Station, Shwenyaungbin, and Ommathi. In Mogok Township, Daw Nan Kyi Taung Camp, Strategic Hill Camp, Shwe Tharyar, Pan Thapyay, and Phyu Yaung Kone Camp were also captured.

During the battle, 51 various weapons of the military council; one RPG–7 launcher, one 60 mm launcher, one machine gun, 2 cars, a jammer, communication equipment, and military equipment were seized. 20 enemy bodies were seized and 17 military council soldiers surrendered.

As of the ground information at 7:00 p.m. on June 26, the Military Council dropped 2 bombs on Kyauk Kyan Village in Nawnghkio Township with a Y-12 aircraft at 3:00 p.m., and the second time with a jet fighter at 7 p.m.

4. KNLA/PDF joint forces attacked military council outposts in Kyauktaga

It is reported that joint forces of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 9 and People’s Defence Force (PDF) Battalion 3702 attacked the military council gate camp at No. 1 Street in the market neighborhood and Shwe Bone Toe gate camp at the corner of No. 2 Street where the military council troops were stationed in Kyauktaga Town, Bago Division.

People’s Defense Force (Southern Regional Military Command) announced that joint forces launched a timely attack on the military council camps at around 1:35 a.m. on June 25. During the attack, about 16 military council soldiers were killed, and one comrade from the PDF Battalion 3702 sacrificed his life for the country.

After that, at around 2:20 a.m., joint forces had to retreat because of the heavy weapons firing and the arrival of reinforcements of the military council with five vehicles with an estimated strength of about 100. After the battle, the 246th army of the military council IB-246 based in Pein Za Loke fired heavy weapons and exploded inside Tha Min Inn Kone Village, damaging some civilians’ houses.

5. Sagaing Police Training School was attacked with 29 drop bombs

People’s Knight Defense Force Myinmu announced that on June 25, at about 1:30 p.m., they attacked No. 3 Police Training School near Kantalu Pagoda, Sagaing Township, with 29 drop bombs with drones.

Due to the attack, some buildings were damaged and 7 ambulances entered the police training school. However, the number of casualties is still unknown. Although the police returned fire with small arms, revolutionary forces were able to retreat unharmed.

The attack was cooperatively carried out by the People’s Knight Defense Force Myinmu (PKDF – MMU), Phoenix SGG, Sagaing District Drone Force, Sagaing District Battalion 7 Company 4, Sagaing District Battalion 2 Company 2, MMU PDF, Taw Twin Tup Pee Local PDF, SDP.camp-camp2 and Sagaing District Missile Production.

6. Fighting continues in Hsihseng Township, and the military council and its subordinate PNO militia group are arresting and killing innocent civilians and demanding tribute

Pa’O National Liberation Army (PNLA) announced that the clashes continued since the military council and its subordinate PNO (Pa’O Militia) group marched towards Htisom Village in the eastern part of Hsihseng Township in the southern Shan State. The military council troops and their subordinate PNO militia troops arrested and killed innocent civilians, and demanded tribute from the public.

On June 24, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, a battle broke out in the north of Htisom Village, and the military council side suffered casualties. During the battle, artillery shells fired by the military council fell and exploded in some villages, destroying civilian houses.

In addition, the military council and the PNO militia collected 30,000 kyats per house from the Pa’O villages in the Loi Mall Hill region, and on June 21, they called a meeting and banned the residents from leaving the village.

In addition, on June 20, the military council and its militia arrested 3 youths from Kyarton Village of Nyaungshwe Township who were regularly coming to Hsihseng Township to sell food, and 1 escaped. It is reported that the 2 arrested young men, Taung Yoe tribe youth Moe Htet and Kyaw Lwin Oo, were killed by the military council and the PNO militia group.

7. One person was killed by the heavy weapons exploded in Saing Taung Village in Hpakant

On June 26, at around 9:00 a.m., an artillery shell fired from a military hill in Myoma Ward of Hpakant exploded in the compound of Sein Mya Thukha Monastery in Saing Taung Village. Shrapnel hit 3 civilians in the nearby tea shop and gold shop, and one of them died on the spot.

It is reported that one of the waiters at the tea shop had his arm broken, a person who was sitting at the shop died on the spot, and a goldsmith from the gold shop was also hit by shrapnel.

Similarly, it is reported that a Karen boy was seriously injured because a shell fell and exploded at a house in Shan Kone Ward, and due to the blockade of roads, it is still difficult for him to receive medical treatment.

This morning, heavy weapons fired by the military exploded randomly in three to four places around Saing Taung Village, injuring a total of 4 civilians. A man sitting in a tea shop died instantly, a waiter and a goldsmith from the gold shop were receiving treatment for serious injuries, and the injured man from Shan Kone Ward was not able to receive medical treatment yet.

8. In Kyaukme, the married couple died on the spot and 4 family members, including 2 children, were injured by heavy weapons

On June 26, at around 11:00 a.m., heavy weapons fell and exploded in Yanking Ward, Kyaukme Town, Northern Shan State, killing the married couples in the house on the spot and injuring 2 women and 2 children.

Because there are too many patients coming to Kyaukme General Hospital for treatment but not enough doctors to treat them, the funeral and social assistance associations brought 2 injured children and 2 women to Pyin Oo Lwin General Hospital.

On June 25, the military council opened fire on two men who were driving a motorcycle in front of spirit shrine in Taung Naut Village, killing both of them.
