1. KIA announced that it has captured at least 10 military council camps
According to the report of VOA, the KIA said that they along with joint forces attacked and captured at least 10 military council camps between Laiza and Waingmaw in Kachin State. At the same time, there is military tension in the town of Waingmaw, and the fighting continues fiercely in Putao, Momauk, and Mansi.
KIA and joint forces launched an offensive against 10 military council camps on Bhamo-Myitkyina road and between Myitkyina Highway, Laiza and Waingmaw last Saturday morning, and in that evening, they captured about 8 large and small camps. At midnight, 2 more military camps were captured, and the fighting continued at the LIB-321 military camp based in Shwe Nyaungpin, said Colonel Nawbu, in charge of KIA information.
These battles started on May 18, and large camps, including Wahtaungbum, Chenugaung, Kazu, Lonzetbum, and small camps, such as Aung Myae 1, Aung Myae 2, and Kharshe, a total of about 10 military camps were captured in 3 days.
The current fierce fighting is on the Myitkyina-Bhamo road south of Waingmaw town, and KIA and joint forces have also arrived between Wuyang and Washawng on the east of Waingmaw.
Colonel Nawbu said that while the town of Waingmaw is under military threat, there are also battles in Putao Township, Momauk, and Mansi.
2. Some international organizations are dividing between the Arakan Army and the local Muslim people as per the propaganda of the military council
Wild Tiger People’s Defence Force said that Shwebo Myoma Police Station and township court were bombed with drones, killing 8 junta soldiers including officers.
Revolutionary forces attacked Shwebo Myoma Police Station and township court with 5 drop bombs using drones at 3:30 p.m. on May 16. The bombs exploded at places where the terrorist military council troops were stationed and it was said that the dead and wounded were carried with ambulances from Shwebo General Hospital.
In this attack, a total of 8 junta soldiers were killed, including a captain, sub-inspector Tin Tun Lin Aung, policemen Chan Win and Zaw Htaik (b) Jack Cock, and 8 were seriously injured. The revolutionary comrades were unharmed, and a drone was damaged in the attack.
The attack was carried out jointly by Bo Kyar Yine People’s Defence Force – Shwebo, Project Flight (Fight for Democracy) Drone Force, Drop For Justice – DFJ, Flying Dragon Force, Tarno Yakha People’s Security Force, FFF.NK Drone, Shwebo Arrmahn Urban Guerrilla Force, and Theinkha Arrmahn Force.
Wild Tiger People’s Defence Force has announced that they will continue to attack military support pillars, including the soldiers, police and Pyu Saw Htee militia, who are causing trouble to the people in various ways.
3. Six people were killed and 11 injured due to the explosion of the artillery shell in Khet Cho Village, Waingmaw Township
It is reported that on May 20, 6 residents were killed and 11 were injured due to the explosion of the artillery shell in Khet Cho Village, Waingmaw Township.
Three members of a family were killed when the artillery shell fired by military council troops stationed at the USDP office at Kyat Paung Chan Ward in Myitkyina exploded in Khet Cho village three times. A total of 3 men and 3 women were killed, and 5 of the 11 injured by shrapnel are in critical condition, according to people close to the hospital.
At about 2:00 p.m., the military council reportedly closed the Khet Cho ferry port. Some villages in Waingmaw Township were on fire due to the explosion of artillery shells, but the exact amount of damage is not yet known.
4. The coalition of People’s Defense Forces raided and attacked the Lin Zin police station in Salin Township
Minbu District Battalion 5 released the military news that on May 18, at 5:00 a.m., the coalition of People’s Defense Forces raided and attacked the Lin Zin police station, Salin Township, Magway Region.
During the raid, the enemy’s reinforced convoy was intercepted from the side of Tattu Taman Road, and the foremost vehicle hit the mine, killing at least 10 soldiers. Although the defense forces tried to capture the camp by firing with heavy weapons and small arms, they had to retreat at 6:30 a.m. due to the arrival of reinforcements from the enemy forces. When the police station was raided and attacked, comrades engaged in the battle witnessed that the enemy forces suffered a lot of casualties.
It is reported that 2 soldiers from the allied forces were seriously injured.
The attack on the Lin Zin Police Station was carried out jointly by Minbu District Battalion 5, 1, and 4, Salin Township PaKaFa, GZ ARMY, MLDC, SLN (PDF), Daung Si Aung Local PDF and Thunder Guerrilla Force.
5. The military council troops stationed in a school in Shwebo Township were bombed by drones
Shwebo Township PaKaFa released the news that the military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia troops stationed in a school in Khun Taung Gyi (Pyu) Village, Shwebo Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Division, was bombed by drones.
On May 19, between 3:20 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., the military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia troops stationed in a school in Khun Taung Gyi (Pyu) Village were bombed with 60-mm bombs using 2 drones. The casualties of the junta troops in the attack are still under investigation. A drone was hit and crashed in the enemy’s territory, said Shwebo Township PaKaFa. They tried to recover the crashed drone, but due to two encounters with the military council ambushes, they lost the drone and had to retreat without being harmed.
The attack was carried out by Shwebo Township PaKaFa, Shwebo Township PaKaFa – Drone Team, Federal Wings, Circuit 1 PaKaFa and Circuit 3 PaKaFa under the command of Shwebo Township PaKaFa PDO.
6. Min Kun police station was attacked, resulting in casualties from the side of the military council
People Servant Force (Armed Guerrilla Force) announced that they attacked the Min Kun police station in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Division, and this might have resulted in casualties on the side of the military council.
On May 19, around 4:00 p.m., led by the People Servant Force, defense forces attacked the Min Kun police station in Sagaing Township, with heavy weapons and small arms. In the attack, there might be casualties of the military council soldiers and defense comrades from joint revolutionary forces were able to retreat without harm, said the People Servant Force.
On May 17, the Min Kun police station was also attacked by the revolutionary forces, and 4 Pyu Saw Htee militia were killed.
The attack was led by the People Servant Force (Armed Guerrilla Force) and was carried out jointly by local PaKaFa and revolutionary forces.
