On January 22, U Tin Tun Naing, Union Minister of Planning, Finance and Investment, expressed his respect to each and every one who bought and supported nearly 700 units of the Spring Valour condominium within an hour as follows:
“I would like to record and honour each and every one of the revolutionary people who bought nearly 700 units [of the Spring Valour condominium] out of 700 units within an hour. We respect and bow to all those who work hard and sell at the front line and to those who share technology and wisdom and provide support from the back line, while loving and respecting all the revolutionary people who are cheering and satisfying the achievement and encouraging with excitement. We will celebrate the victory together with the boldness of the spring.”

3. NUG’s Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe says that the military junta is targeting health care personnel who participate in the Civil Disobedience Movement with malice
Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister for Health, the National Unity Government, said the following in his speech at the event urging health care personnel to participate more in the Spring Revolution’s health care sector, held on January 21:
“Particularly, it was found that the medical personnel who participate in the Civil Disobedience Movements (CDM) were being arrested, tortured, and imprisoned with great malice. From the perspective of health care workers, their malice [the malice of the military council] demonstrates that they have already failed in today’s revolution. They are holding grudge and cracking down the health care workers because our revolutionary health care workers have succeeded.”
After the military coup, at least 10,000 people have been arrested and detained in various prisons, and the military council has killed at least 2,000 people.

6. One of the Brave Heart Army base camps was raided and destroyed by arson, causing damage worth nearly 20 million kyats, and two civilians were murdered
On January 22, the Wolf Guerrilla Force (Myaing) claimed that it and its allies attacked a group of paramilitary Pyu Saw Htee who were providing security in a bunker in Thayet Kwan Village, Myaing Township.
“On January 20, at around 7:30 a.m., the members of the Wolf Guerrilla Force (Myaing) attacked a guard bunker where a group of Pyu Saw Htee members were providing security in Thayet Kwa (a village of Pyu Saw Htee) Village, Myaing Township. We learned that a male and a female member of Pyu Saw Htee were wounded in the attack; the female Pyu Saw Htee was hit by a bullet in the neck, and they were sent to Myaing Hospital. Therefore, we ambushed the vehicle carrying about 20 military council soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members as they were coming back from the hospital before they entered Thayet Kwa Village at about 1:00 p.m., killing two members of Pyu Saw Htee and injuring eight others.”
The attack was said to have been conducted jointly by the Wolf Guerrilla Force (Myaing) and its allies: the Myaing PDF Squadron-1, the Myaing PDF Squadron-1 (Myaing Garuda PDF), the Myaing PDF Squadron-3 (Ta Yoke Kyi), the Myaing PDF Squadron-4 (Setkya), the Light Ray Guerrilla Force (Myaing), the PPDF, Ko Aung Gyi group, the M.P.V. 7. People are calling for a boycott of Ngwe Taung restaurant in Yangon’s South Okkalapa Township
On January 21, the two comrades from a youth urban guerrilla group were apprehended by the staff of Ngwe Taung Restaurant when they were on their way back from an operation at the South Okkalapa Township ward administration office, which is located next to Ngwe Taung Restaurant. One of the two comrades managed to escape, but the other, Comrade Chocolate (aka Thar Din), was beaten to death by the restaurant staff, according to an anonymous witness. Therefore, Myanmar citizens at home and abroad have called for a boycott of Ngwe Taung restaurant.
“They did not come to destroy the interests in their restaurant, but they beat them up. The restaurant must be related to the military junta; that’s why they arrested the comrades. We request the public not to buy or eat from this restaurant,” said a resident in Yangon.
It is also said that Ngwe Taung restaurant was the same one that provided drinks and refreshments to military council forces during the early 2021 protests.
After the incident in which a comrade was arrested and beaten to death, several Yangon guerrilla groups issued a number of statements condemning and warning Ngwe Taung restaurant.
